The lodge has wall to wall windows covering nearly all the east facing walls, revealing breathtaking views of the Illinois River and valley below from nearly every room. Flint Ridge Resort offers many free amenities including two swimming pools, miniature golf, tennis and basketball courts. For a fee there is also a golf course with club house and restaurant, and Illinois River float trips. A great location for your reunion or retreat.
The main level of the lodge features two stories of soaring windows with a beautiful two story river rock wood burning fireplace. There is a large great room and adjacent den with a 55" flat screen TV. The beautiful, large kitchen has concrete counter tops and is fully equipped. Step outside onto the huge deck which is the entire length of the house. There are tables and chairs to enjoy the amazing views and a large gas grill. This level also features a private bedroom with king bed and private bath, and additional half bath by the living room.
The upper level has a huge master bedroom with a private deck. It has a king bed and twin over full bunk, sitting area, and a 48" flat screen TV. It features a large master bath with large pebble stone shower and jetted Jacuzzi, and a walk in closet. The entire east wall is covered with windows which makes it amazing to lay in bed and watch the stars and to see the moon reflecting off the river below, and in the morning to catch the beautiful sunrises! Adjacent to the master bedroom is a loft area overlooking the living room with a pool table and two.
The lower level has a large great room with a wall of windows also and a 60" TV. There is a leather sofa and recliners, and room to pull out a folding ping pong table for some fun. It also has a kitchenette with full size refrigerator, sink, coffee pot and microwave. There is a large deck off of this level with a river rock fireplace and outdoor furniture to enjoy the view and maybe roast some marshmallows. This level also has two bedrooms with river views. One bedroom has two full beds and the other bedroom has two queen beds. There is a bathroom with a shower, and a laundry room with washer and dryer.
There are 4 bedrooms with a total of 8 beds. The lodge is beautifully decorated with rustic décor and has many wildlife, fish, and bird mounts.
The lodge is located at the end of approximately a mile of tree lined dirt road and is very quiet and serene. The house sits on a bluff overlooking the river below so there is a short drive to access the river.

The Flint Ridge Resort Illinois River float trips are available on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holidays from Memorial Day through Labor Day. You can also bring your own canoes and kayaks, but will need to launch them yourself. There are two small lakes in Flint Ridge for fishing in addition to the Illinois River.
