Welcome to Marlpit Cottage, a charming 3-bedroom retreat nestled in the village of Salthouse. A rustic gem, with an abundance of traditional features, and a stunning peaceful, private garden – perfect for unwinding after a busy day discovering the Nearby coastline! Explore the renowned saltmarshes, stroll along Salthouse’s shingle beach, or visit much-loved nearby towns such as Holt and Wells-Next-The-Sea. A perfect pet-friendly, family cottage in one of the most tranquil parts of North Norfolk!
Bedrooms:
There are three bedrooms located on the upper floor of the cottage, consisting of a spacious double room with plenty of storage space and a hand basin. There are also two identical twin rooms, comprised of well-designed, built-in bunk beds as well as an additional play space under the roof – loved by older children! Unfortunately, we advise that these rooms are not suitable for under 5’s and use by older children is at your discretion. They would also not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues, and it is worth noting even the lower beds are high off the ground and can only be reached by a ladder. All three bedrooms feature rustic vaulted wooden ceilings.
Bedrooms:
All three of Marlpit Cottage’s bedrooms are located on the upper floor of the property. Perfect for Mum and Dad, the spacious double room features ample storage space and a convenient hand basin. Two identical twin rooms boast well-designed built-in bunk beds, with additional play space under the charming vaulted wooden ceilings – a favourite among older children.
