Summary:
Rural-style property, with capacity for 6 people, well equipped and ideal for families or groups of friends who come to visit the Alt Empordà, unwind and spend a few days relaxing in an idyllic setting surrounded by fields and mountains.

The Space:
The property can be accessed from two different roads. The south facing access requires climbing up some stairs that access the living room, which is equipped with a comfy sofa and two armchairs looking towards the TV. There is also a dinning room table for 6 people and a little balcony.
From the living room there are two accesses. The nearest to the sofa goes into the kitchen that is equipped with a cooker, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, fridge and a smaller table that seats 4 comfortably. There is also essential cutlery and dishes for 6 people.
From the kitchen there is a corridor which gives access to the main bedroom. Equipped with a large double bed with bedside tables and a built-in wardrobe, there is also a chest of draws. At the end of the corridor there are three routes, if you turn left there is the main access to the property which leads to the road where you will find free parking, if you go straight you will access another bedroom with a two single beds and a wardrobe or if you turn right you reach the main south facing balcony. Before reaching the balcony on your right-hand side there is a fully equipped bathroom with a walk in shower and a washing machine, or alternatively if you turn left you will access the last of the three bedrooms which has two single beds. Lastly, the main balcony has stunning views of the mountain and a large built-in BBQ. If you turn right, looking at the balcony, you will return to the living room.
All rooms and living room are equipped with air conditioning/heating.

The Neighborhood:
Vilamaniscle, located to the north of the Alt Empordà region, with an area of ​​5.5 km2, borders the town of Llançà to the north, Garriguella to the south and Rabós to the west. The Albera Natural Park surrounds the entire town, and in the same municipality you can still find wild examples of the Albera tortoise, currently protected, but it is also common to find a high variety of fauna such as roe deer, badgers, foxes, and boars.
Vilamaniscle is also a very good starting point for nature excursions. The St. Quirze de Colera monastery is especially popular and can be reached by car in about 20 minutes on forest tracks that are in generally good condition. Or, on foot, the walk will take about 2 hours and 30 minutes. The excursion is worthwhile due to the cultural-historical importance of the monastery, but also due to the beautiful and impressive scenery along the way.
After the first 500 meters of the path, you can also visit the menhir (Pedra Dreta), about 20 meters to the right of the forest path. Other excursions to the Albera mountains can also start in Vilamaniscle. If you don't want to spend too much energy, visit the St. Gil church (16th-18th century) built very close to the town.
Although it may seem like an isolated town, it has the beaches of Llançà 15 minutes away by car, or Port de la Selva 20 minutes away. In these towns you will find the best beaches in the area, the ones we recommend the most are: Cala Bramant, Port Beach, Playa la Farella, Playa de Grifeu and Cap de Vol.
If you prefer swimming in a pool, Vilamaniscle is one of the few surrounding towns that has a municipal pool, and with an affordable entry price (you will find an image of the prices).
Other places that make Alt Empordà known are Aiguamolls de l'Empordà, one of the main wetlands in Catalonia, together with the Ebro and Llobregat deltas. This park can be known through the 8 itineraries that it has where you can see up to 329 species of birds that have been counted.
On the other hand, another of the best-known natural parks is the Cap de Creus Natural Park. This protected natural area, 50 minutes away by car, is the easternmost point of the Iberian Peninsula. We recommend doing one of its various walking tours and discovering the beautiful natural landscapes that this geographical phenomenon can offer.
In addition, next to the Cap de Creus lighthouse, there is a restaurant where you can savor the cuisine of the area, and in high season, you can only access it by car if you have a reservation.

Cancellation and collection policy
When making your reservation, you will be charged €3 to check the card and to cover the management costs in case of cancellation. If it is not canceled, these €3 will become part of the total payment of the reservation. If you cancel before 14 days for your registration, you will only be charged the €3 administration costs.
14 days before your registration, you will be charged 50% of the value of the reservation, which will not be refunded (of this first payment) if you cancel between days 14 and 7 before your registration.
7 days before your registration, the remaining 50% of the total value of the reservation will be charged. If you cancel in the period between 7 days and the same day of registration, the total value of the reservation will not be refunded.
