The 400 m2 large spacious villa is located in the middle of a small wine village. There are 6 bedrooms, 4 toilets, and it accommodates up to 14 people. Casa Florel has several floors and on the top of the house there is a huge roof terrace where you can enjoy the views of the vineyards of Penedès and the local village. The local village offers among other things a small bakery and a pharmacy.
The 1,500 m2 large garden is a great experience in itself. It possesses a large grassy area, fruit trees, exotic palms and a myriad of local and imported flowers and plants. The ecological environment feels cosy and luxuriant as all plants have been allowed to grow. The garden offers ponds with colourful fish, turtles and frogs and it is furthermore very child friendly. The saltwater pool has Roman stairs and the pool has a minimum depth of 100 cm where the children can swim and play. From the terrace or the sun beds at the pool area, you can keep an eye on what is going on in the garden and by the pool. In the hot afternoons you can enjoy a cooling dip in the swimming pool or use the table tennis and the trampoline.
From the garden and pool area you can take the stairs to the terrace area. From here you can go directly to the large modern kitchen. The kitchen possesses everything a kitchen needs: large gas stove, toaster, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, double fridge and a freezer. There is a long dining table in the dining room, where you can enjoy the indoor meals. As the home owner uses the ground level for storage, the main entrance is on the 1st floor. On the 1st floor there is also a large spacious living room, a toilet and a playing room, for the children. In the playing room there is also an extra double sofa which can be used as an extra bed.
On the 2nd floor there are 6 double bedrooms. 3 bedrooms have double beds, 2 bedrooms have two single beds and 1 room has a bunk bed. To reach the room with bunk beds, you must go through the master suite, which is a double room with a double bed. From the master suite there is access to a small terrace where you can enjoy your morning coffee. There is also access to a beautiful bathroom with sunken bathtub. There is also access to the bathroom from the other rooms. On the 2nd floor there is also a room with washing machine and dryer, 2 bathrooms, and an extra terrace.
The rooms and bathrooms are decorated in different ways. The use of explosive colours, original details and antique furniture from 1913 gives an exceptional experience of an artistic Spanish house. Some opponents of Franco once used Casa Florel as a hideout. The historical house mixes Gothic windows, colours with Spanish mosaics and you will discover new amazing details during your stay. At the top of the house you find the huge rooftop terrace. From here you can enjoy a lovely 360 degree view of vineyards of the region and the city ofVilafranca del Penedès.
