The house sits on just under an acre. Nestled close to a gorgeous mountain view. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee in the expansive living room cozied up on our extra plush couches or chair and a half watching the family of deer who come to graze just outside the window. Custom kids closet with 100's of toys. Get a day of outdoor activities in, including hiking the best trails in Palmer Lake, then come home to a 75 inch TV with all of the latest in streaming. Prepare meals in an adorable farmhouse kitchen with views of the mountain. You may even spot a red fox in the backyard from the bay window in the dining area. When you're done for the day, relax on one of our memory foam mattresses. The upstairs has a master bedroom with a king bed and an on suite bathroom with a bunk room right next door. Résumé: This house worked great for us. The price is reasonable but a few things I wish I would have known. 1. It says A/C but The air conditioning is actually two inside units. One in the living room and one in the master bedroom. Other wise you are opening windows at night and shutting them in the morning. I grew up in Colorado so I knew the drill but when you are escaping 104degree temps it’s nice to have a cool house all the time with little effort or at least know it ahead of time. 2. Listing says no pets. We are not a pet family and it is clear that pets have been in this house. We took the slip covers off the couch because they were gross and clearly made for dogs to sit on. I could smell the previous dogs. 3. Lastly, the landscaping is not that great. The house has a lot of potential. We would have loved better outdoor space. What we loved. The bathrooms are really nice, the kitchen is nice (no toaster). The windows are brand new and easy to use. The house is big so it was my family of 5 and my sisters family of 5. We were upstairs and they were downstairs. TVs are great. Plenty of room to relax. Toy closet was fun for the little kids. The backyard is its own little Forrest and the kids enjoyed playing out back. The area seems a little rundown but also looks like it is going to start turning over. New homes in the area. there are a Few good restaurants around and the Lake was nice. Also close by trails. It worked for what we needed but I try not to stay in pet friendly homes.
