Imagine waking up to the sound of birds and monkeys as the sun peaks over the trees. Step outside your door and breathe deep, taking in the peaceful surroundings of this jungle oasis. All this just a 15-minute drive to the town of Samara and it’s beautiful beaches and five minutes more to the less touristy beach at Carrillo.
This brand new, custom-built home is in a gated community on an enormous, private 1.25 acre pristine jungle lot. It features a huge kitchen with a large island and bar, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious living area, beautiful pool, and an expansive property. All rooms face the jungle with floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors.
THE KITCHEN & LIVING AREA
The custom kitchen features 17 ft ceilings, a huge island and breakfast bar, custom cabinetry, granite countertops, and is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy preparing a meal with family and friends.
The living room is adjacent to the kitchen with an over-sized sectional sofa and two comfy arm chairs.
Both the kitchen and living area feature floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors opening onto the outdoor patio and pool area.
THE BEDROOMS
There are two bedrooms at each end of the house, separated by the kitchen, living room, and entrance way.
At one end are two master bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed and the same floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors as the kitchen and living room. One bedroom also features a handmade wooden desk crafted by a local artisan and an office chair in case you need to mix a little work with your pleasure.
At the other end of the house are two more bedrooms, each with built-in closets. Bedroom three has a queen-sized bed and bedroom four has bunk beds with a double on the bottom and a twin on the top. The same floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors also grace these rooms.
NOTE: A car, preferably 4x4 is needed.

• A laundry room is off the main entry and features a full-sized washer and dryer for your convenience
• The pool overlooks our beautiful jungle property and tasteful outdoor lighting allows you to enjoy it well into the evening
• The outdoor living area has a selection of patio chairs, allowing you to relax poolside and soak up the stunning Costa Rican flora and fauna
• Monkeys and numerous types of birds can be seen in the trees on the property
The gated community of Proyecto Montana provides security and privacy, the feeling of being “away from it all” while still only a 15-minute drive to the beaches and restaurants of Samara. Each property in this community is on a full 1.25 acres of land, which allows you to immerse yourself in nature, while still enjoying all the modern conveniences.
SAMARA & AREA
The Lonely Planet describes Samara as the “black hole of happiness.” People arrive and never want to leave. The lure of the beautiful surroundings, vibrant community, and wonderful people is certainly what convinced us to buy a house here. Samara features many amazing restaurants, cafes, and shops. Whether you want to dine on the beach, listening to the waves, venture off the beaten path to find a hidden gem, or grab a drink and watch the game at the local sports bar, Samara delivers. Dozens of quaint little shops pepper the main drag and side streets.
The beach at Samara is simply stunning. Long and deep, perfect for sunbathing, swimming, playing volleyball or soccer. It is, in a word, paradise. There are several places on the beach and in town to rent surfboards and take lessons.
You can also rent kayaks to paddle out to Isla Chora, a small island just offshore. Once on the island, you will discover a secluded beach with amazing views back to Samara and the mountains behind it.
If you like horseback riding on the beach, there are several places to rent horses. There are also local guides and boats you can rent for fishing expeditions. We highly recommend taking a dolphin tour.
There are numerous places in town to book tours and rent quads, golf carts, and even an Alamo/National car rental office.
