Our home is a wonderful space to use as a base for families, couples or friendship groups to explore the area or enjoy favorite pass-times. Not to brag, but the house is a 5 min walk from the door to the beach via a walking track through local sand dunes and Marram grass.
We pride ourselves in offering you a comfortable, relaxing break. Central to all that the East Coast has to offer this is the ideal property if you want to enjoy Boating, Fishing, Mountain Biking, Beach Walks, Surfing etc..
With lots of space to park all the toys and the kids can play footy, cricket and ride their bikes. The house is securely fenced and backs onto the beautiful East Coast Beaches. Please be aware that the nearby beach is a bird nesting habitat, and as such dogs are welcome, but must be kept leashed on the section toward Scamander. The section of beach from Byatt court towards Beaumaris is an off-leash area.
We welcome dogs (limit 2) & their responsible owners, PLEASE do not allow them on the beds. There is also a Puppy cleaning bucket in the laundry, for any inside accidents. (It happens to the best of us.)
This is NOT A PARTY house & we respectfully invite families who wish to getaway for a comfortable, relaxing short break or holiday.
We ask that when checking out you leave the house as you found it. This includes the obvious things (e.g. kitchen items, utensils cleaned and put away, any items moved put back in the place you found them, pet bowls washed).
We have provided several items to make your stay more comfortable and only ask that when you leave, the kitchen, living room and bathrooms are left clean and tidy, this helps to minimise cleaning costs.
Please clean Mountain bikes in area provided at side of the shed and return hose, bucket etc to inside of the shed when you are finished. Please leave out any breakages or a note informing us of any damages. We understand that items break occasionally, and you letting us know will allow us to sort and get ready for the next guest to enjoy the house. Thank you for putting your rubbish and recycling in the bins outside the front of the house
Dogs are welcome (I take mine) as long as they clean up after themselves (or have a human helper) There is a Puppy Incident bucket in the laundry for small accidents that can happen. There is a pooper scooper shovel and broom for outside incidents, if the waste could be put into a bag and then into the correct rubbish bin, it is greatly appreciated. We encourage responsible dog ownership and ask if you walk your dog that you remove any waste (poop) they may leave behind. There are poop bags supplied at the end of Byatt court just before the beach trail. We also have a small stash under the kitchen sink, where the garbage bags are.
We have plenty of space for extended families or groups, with super comfy beds over three bedrooms (one set up with a double bunk arrangement). The rooms are all generous in size and we recommend the house sleep 10 but that doesn’t stop you from squeezing in 12 if you don’t mind using the sofa bed in the second sitting room
The area has 120kms of new cycling tracks and there has always been wonderful natural beauty in the hinterland, on the coast and under the water (the fishing is brilliant).
Camping or pitching of tents strictly prohibited. We require a minimum stay of 3 nights over Easter. Strictly no smoking within the house, smoking outside is permitted please dispose of butts correctly. Please do not move furniture around as cleaner is not a removalist
Strictly no parties, weddings or gatherings without the written approval of the owners. Only the number of guests booked for can stay overnight. Linen is supplied for the number of guests staying.
Please respect our neighbours. Please place dirty dishes in the dishwasher and turn the dishwasher on.
No tissues or rubbish to be left on the floor. Your cooperation will greatly assist our hardworking cleaner to prepare for the next guests We wish to advise that if you use the barbecue you must agree to clean it afterwards otherwise you will be charged an extra $25.00 for cleaning.
We provide that extra bit of luxury with eco friendly items for personal use, along with a nesspresso coffee maker, pizza oven, thermomix and BBQ, ready to whip up a gourmet meals. Tea , coffee, spices and pantry basics are also provided. For those wanting to self cater, there is crockery and cutlery for 10, plus bakeware and cook ware are provided .
