Résumé: I stayed at Deb’s place for a week and loved it. The beauty of the beachfront location cannot be overstated. The sunsets are magnificent. I loved being able to go for a swim or snorkel right in the “backyard.” The condo is clean and comfortable and has some great sea-themed art. I loved the undersea-themed bedding. The kitchen has everything you need if you plan to cook / eat in. Good AC & water pressure! Deb was clearly concerned about my comfort and made sure to put me in touch with Henry, who is on site and ready to help with anything On South Bimini, there is not a lot of excitement / entertainment, which was perfect for me because I needed a retreat. I rented a bike and explored the natural beauty of the island when I wasn’t diving or resting. But it is important to think about how to get around if you are not planning to just stay on the condo property (which has beach, pool, restaurant). For me, biking and walking were just fine… the ferry to the north island (where the dive shop is, plus all the restaurants, shops, etc.) is close by, but if you’re not mobile or have small kids, it just requires a bit more thought. Same for food options. There is a small, well stocked convenience store nearby, but overall few dining options other than on the property, so planning helps. I would absolutely come back here for the view alone, but the comfort of the condo and friendliness of the hosts sells it even more!
