“Oceans Rise” is a delightful single-storey family home in Sunderland Bay just a comfortable walk from the beach and a short drive from the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes or San Remo. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The large Living Room (with TV, chromecast, office desk & monitor/keyboard/mouse) provides a great space to relax and/or work, and access through to the open plan Kitchen/Dining Room. The front covered deck is also accessed from the Living Room. A central hallway leads to all three bedrooms (each with built in robes), the bathroom (with bath & shower), and a separate toilet.
Outdoor Areas
The large rear garage has been set up as a games room with a table tennis table, couch, childrens play equipment & games. The fully enclosed block is perfect for children and pets (pets to remain out of the bedrooms please) and a long driveway with tandem carport (attached to the side of the home) provides plenty of parking for up to 4 cars and/or a boat. The covered front deck (with bbq & seating for 3 people) looks over the front garden and is accessed from the Living Room.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Aldi pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, electric oven and cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There is a portable airconditioner in the Living Room as well as a wall mounted electric heater, plus two additional stand-alone heaters and three fans which can be used where required.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 6 beds plus 1 day bed, accommodating up to 9 guests:
Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: Two sets of Single bunks
Bedroom 3: One Double bed
The Living Room also has a Single day bed suitable for 1 adult or child
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
