the Water Hideout is located in a densely forested and beautiful natural region. the work of the Polish architect was invented in such a way as to fit into the beautiful natural environment and at the same time disturb it as little as possible. happy residents of the house can rest at their best. the closeness of nature, water equipment and high comfort of living will make one want to come back here again and again.
all the property on water, as well as a space on land, is at your disposal. a master floor has been finished with a white and grey colour palette with many wooden elements for a modern, cosy and minimalist appearance. it offers 54 m² of comfy living space that contains two bedrooms with vast wardrobes, a spick-and-span bathroom, an airy kitchen with dining space and a fabulous lounge with a great sofa that converts into a double bed. the glass walls of the living room allow you to get the most out of what is most valuable here - the views of beautiful nature.
sliding glass doors open out to the wraparound deck with hammocks and hanging armchairs. openwork partitions of wood are enfolded by reeds making it a perfect place to enjoy the jaw-dropping views of surrounding nature. sit here for moments in silence and you may observe rare wild birds (such as kingfishers, grey herons, tawny owls, scales and cormorants) and aquatic animals: ducks and beavers among others.
once you get satiated with chilling out in a hammock we invite you to some water activities! visiting the area on SUPs or a kayak is one of the best opportunities to observe the wildlife in a soothing companion to the sounds of water. we also encourage you to take walks in the nearby lush forests (you can see deer, roe deer, and wild boars) and villages to see how the life of local residents flows here.
coming back to the Water Hideout, its 40 m² roof with wooden terrace opens onto breathtaking lakefront views. this level, which boasts two outdoor sofas, a large dining table, a grill, plenty of countertop space to prepare food and lovely lighting above, is a perfect private spot to escape to after a long day on the water. there is room for yoga, training, board games, barbecue or dancing to the music.
on solid ground, the front yard of the property offers a boho dining area with a place for a bonfire with a grill. in the warmer evenings, nothing welcomes quite like feasting by the fire in the great outdoors. sharing meals in the open air and entertaining under the stars is the perfect way to make the most of a social gathering.

on a daily basis, I do not live in Nowa Wieś Zbąska, but in Zielona Góra, Berlin, Wrocław, Warsaw or Granada. seriously, this is my life, for about a year I have been running alternately between the above-mentioned cities. a trip to the vineyard, a boat trip or you need a guide in the nearby areas, everything can be organized :)
WATER HIDEOUT is located in the Zbąszyń commune, next to which once ran the Polish-German border. now it is the border of the Wielkopolskie and Lubuskie provinces. these regions are famous, among others for dense forestation, the land of 100 Lakes and wine traditions.
among the vineyards, we recommend Stara Winna Góra in Cigacice.
a must-see place is a lavender plantation Silna Lawenda. in addition to the fabulous views, you can buy probably every product that can be made from this plant.
one of the cities nearby worth seeing is Wolsztyn (20 min by car) with a museum of working steam locomotives, an open-air museum of folk architecture and a nice walking path around the lake.
in Łagów there is a stunning castle of the Knights Hospitaller.
the Folwark Pszczew offers, among others SPA zone, café, wine bar, horse riding and amphibious rides.
great restaurants are Karczma Taberska i Dwór Kolesin.
Zbąszyń is very well connected. the Zielona Góra Airport (Babimost) is located 5 km from here. additionally, there is a railway station on the Warsaw-Berlin route. if you are travelling by car, A2 highway runs just nearby.
note that you are staying in a Floating Home, so water is literally all around you. try to keep that in mind and don't lose your belongings in the water as most likely you will not be able to get them back. note also that you are in the middle of beautiful nature. please, respect the environment around you and throw your rubbish in the bin exclusively.
