AWAY FROM TOURIST CROWDS: The homes are in Esterillos Este, midway between the busy tourists areas of Jaco and Manuel Antonio/Quepos (18 & 33 Miles respectively).
CLOSE TO ALL THE FUN: Zip lines, Horse rides, quad excursions, Waterfall repelling, crocodile river tours, kayaking, Island trips, fishing trips.... After a fun day of activities, you'll love coming back to this exclusive, peaceful setting.
CONVENIENT: There is a grocery Store and several restaurants just 1/2 mile down the private road at the entrance to the ranch.
TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS: We require all Groups to have a transportation plan.
1. CAR RENTAL with AIRPORT TRANSPORT:
We can arrange for a local company* to pick you up at the airport (SJO). They'll will drive you to their office in Jaco. From there, you'll drive the remaining 18+ miles to the house. This is the easiest option and will save you time and money.
*Note: The mandatory INSURANCE is INCLUDED their rate. Other rental companies add insurance fees on top of their rate even when paying with Amex.
2. AIRPORT SHUTTLE SERVICE : Great for larger groups. They'll pick you up at the Airport. You can then have the rental car delivered at the house..
3. FULL CHAUFFEUR SERVICE: The shuttle driver chauffeur will take you every where you during your stay. This is the BEST and will make your trip so fun and relaxing!!!

WEEKENDS & SHORT STAYS (3-4 Nights min.): Short stays can only be approved less than 60 days prior from arrival.
CANCELLATIONS: Travelers do NOT get any refund on any monies paid for cancellations, regardless of circumstances, including extenuating circumstances BUT MAY RECEIVE A CREDIT as follows:
91DAYS OR MORE PRIOR TO ARRIVAL: 70% CREDIT
90-31 PRIOR TO ARRIVAL: 35% CREDIT
30 OR LESS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL: NO CREDIT
CREDIT IS VALID FOR ONE YEAR FROM DATE OF CANCELLATION AND IS TRANSFERRABLE.
SHORT STAYS (2 or 3 NIGHTS) can only be reserved within 60 DAYS from arrival
ELECTRIC ALLOWANCE: Our rental rate includes a comfortable allowance of 50KW/Day/Home (100 KW/2Hms). Any EXCESS USAGE is due and payable at checkout and at the rate of $0.75USD/KW.
POOL SAFETY: As in most Costa Rican homes, THE POOL AREA IS NOT FENCED UP. By making a reservation, travelers ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THEY ARE AWARE of that fact and that THEY ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY for any accident, even resulting in loss of life, and wether or not by negligence and that they will NOT HOLD OWNER AND/OR ITS AGENTS RESPONSIBLE.
QUIET HOURS: When renting this Estate, you may have a neighbor to the East of Villa Oceana. In that case, we ask that you show respect, meaning no loud music or noises outside and/or in the covered terraces and ranchos of this particular home.
SMOKING: Guests MAY SMOKE OUTSIDE the home as long as smoke does not enter inside. SMOKING INSIDE the home is PROHIBITED and may result in a substantial charge against the security deposit. .
EVENTS: Events are allowed with APPROVAL PRIOR TO BOOKING and may result in additional charges. Additional guests must be registered and may NOT stay overnight.
USE OF PREMISES: Premises may not be use for any act of prostitution, wether legal or illegal in Costa Rica, and/or for any act of exploitation of minors.
PETS: One pet per/house is allowed but MUST BE APPROVED PRIOR TO BOOKING. Only well behaved, house trained and non-threatening pets are allowed. Guests must be able to maintain their pet on the property and are encouraged to bring a harness and lead. There is a $100/PET FEE that will be collected at check in.
