Enjoy peace, relaxation and tranquility in this charming cottage nestled in the gorgeous countryside village of Ruthwell.
The perfect base for exploring the beautiful Dumfries & Galloway region, there are stunning country walks & cycling opportunities right on the doorstep!
Sleeping 4, with a spacious sitting & dining area and fully equipped country style kitchen, the cottage will quickly become your home from home sanctuary.
Furry friends are welcome (see below).
The space
Nestled in the beautiful Dumfries & Galloway countryside, The Wee Hoose offers fantastic opportunities for hiking, walking & cycling.
Arrive in the lovely rural village of Ruthwell and park in the driveway of the cottage (adjacent to the main house) where there is a dedicated parking space just for guests.
On entry, you will be greeted by the charming, light & bright kitchen along with the open plan dining & sitting area. Cosy but spacious, the sitting room is great for a night in front of the TV after a fun filled day exploring the area, or, for a family games night.
Enjoy an evening glass of wine (or morning coffee) in the garden area with views to the large garden & countryside beyond.
The master bedroom (double) is beautifully presented with a super comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. Bedroom 2 has bunk beds which are always a huge hit with the little ones!
A modern bathroom with both bath & shower means both a quick shower in the morning or long soak after a day packed with activities is possible.
Pets are welcome at a charge of £30 to cover additional cleaning costs, please advise at time of booking if you wish to bring pets.
