Pigeon Forge is booming and having the right location is important to avoid most of the traffic. Don't spend too much of your vacation time in traffic. Our location is great for avoiding most of the congestion. Conveniently located near most attractions yet nice and quiet other than the train whistle and nightly fireworks from Dollywood less than a half mile away.
Bear Country Jewel condo is a cozy, yet spacious condo with 2 bedrooms and sleeps 6 people (has full size pull out sofa bed). It is family owned. When you book a stay at Bear Country Jewel, you have access to contact Glenn, the owner, or the housekeeper for any reason you may need assistance at any time during your stay. Bear Country Jewel is a very clean, well taken care of condo, with all the amenities you want, such as a fully equipped kitchens, indoor/outdoor swimming pools, steam room, charcoal grills, gas grill at the outdoor kitchen, washer and dryer in the unit, and we provide all the towels, linens and paper products.
This condo is located in the best location of any condo in Pigeon Forge. Just 2 1/2 miles from Dollywood without having to get on the busy Parkway. We are the closest condo to Dollywood. Close to Teaster Ln which can get you to most of Pigeon Forge without having to get on the Parkway. On the southern side of town where it is easy to get to Gatlinburg without most of the traffic. Less than a mile from the main parkway at light #8 near Dolly's Dixie Stampede, yet you will feel secluded. Read our reviews.
The condo is just above the garage. If you park under the unit, the stairs are right there and our door is about 12 feet from the top of the stairs. The elevator is about 70 feet from the unit toward the other end of the building. You can park next to it but there is a short walk. We have a walk in shower that everyone seems to love.
** The trolley stops right in front of the complex, our stop is the last stop before going into Dollywood. About a 2 minute trip to be dropped off at the gate. They pick you up at the gate and our stop is the first stop coming out. About a 2 minute ride. No having to park and walk a long distance to the gate. This was a great find. **
