A white stone house situated on a gentle hillside with beautiful views of the Vendicari coastline. A dirt road climbs from a pristine golden sandy beach inland to a gate. Behind this hides Casa Pizzuta amidst the olive trees of a vast estate that borders in the distance on the excavations of Eloro, a Greek city dating back to the 5th century BC that was destroyed during the conquest of Sicily by the Arabs. Casa Pizzuta offers the wonderful combination of a beautiful natural environment, rural and marine at the same time. In fact, 600 metres from the house is one of the most beautiful beaches in Sicily, with its golden sand surrounded by fragrant hedges of rosemary, thyme, myrtle, boxwood and lentiscus, typical of the Mediterranean maquis, and interspersed with white sandstone cliffs that plunge into an incredible turquoise sea. To the south of this beach is the Vendicari coastal reserve that extends for 10 km to San Lorenzo, near the fishing village of Marzamemi. Just north of the beach is the small seaside resort of Lido di Noto, which has a promenade with bars, ice cream parlours and a beautiful beach. The baroque town of Noto, a UNESCO heritage site, is 6 km away. Casa Pizzuta has a large garden with many almond trees. The house has a large covered terrace and consists of a double bedroom, two nice bathrooms with bidet, shower and toilet and a living room with a basic kitchen, a dining table and a double sofa bed. From the living room there is access to a covered terrace. Further into the garden is another terrace with deck chairs and a beautiful view of the coast.
