Manoir La Breuille is a grand Manor house and former chambre d'hotes, parts of which date back to the 13th century. It offers magnificent holiday accommodation with a private outdoor solar-heated pool. Situated on 12 acres of land with a stream, small lake and woodland. Bridle-path leading to Montmoreau (2 km from La Breuille). The beautiful surrounding area is excellent for walking, photography and cycling.
The house can accommodate up to 13 people and offers the following: 5 bedrooms each with it's own en-suite bathroom, large living room with elegant dining area. The kitchen is located on the lower level, with a large dining area opening out on to the private terrace. Outside spaces include ample parking, large garden and outdoor heated swimming pool. Originally a Chambre d'hotes, this house is now exclusively let out as a holiday home.
On the border of the Dordogne and southern Charente, between Villebois Lavalette, Aubeterre sur Dronne and Chalais, this Manoir is set outside of the town of Montmoreau. The sweeping drive leads to a pigeonnier tower, being the main part of a 13th century house which was added to in the 1800s, all in a garden full of shrubs, flowers and mature trees.
The beautiful surrounding countryside can be admired whilst relaxing on the terrace and by the large private solar-heated swimming pool. With characteristic fireplaces, ornate plaster work, high ceilings and a stone staircase.
It is situated near the river Dronne, less than an hour’s drive from Saint Emilion, known for its wine and cognac, Bordeaux or chateaux such as, Villebois Lavalette or Chalais, are all worth a visit.
Location: 2km from Montmoreau St Cybard (shops, cafés, restaurants and local horse riding), 13km from Villebois Lavalette (château and market hall), 18km from Aubeterre sur Dronne (river, beach, canoeing, restaurants, shops and golf) and 60km from Cognac (distilleries, boat trips, golf, restaurants and shops). La Breuille is set in the beautiful countryside of the Charente on the borders of the Dordogne. A great location to explore rural France.

Bed and bath linen is not included in the price, as our guests generally like to save the cost of this. However, we do offer an optional full set of bed and bath linen for 23€ttc/person per stay. This can be ordered and paid for after booking.
A compulsory "intermediate cleaning" fee is charged at the time of booking and corresponds to the disinfection and preparation of the house between two tenants. The house must not be left dirty when the tenants leave, we ask our tenants to leave the house as they found it when they arrived (kitchen and sanitary facilities clean, fridge and cupboards emptied, no trace of dirt apparent, bins removed, etc.). We also propose to our tenants who do not want to think about the cleaning before their departure, a "complete cleaning" package which will be charged at 25€/hour. For this accommodation, the amount of this package is an additional 100€.
