• Experience the best of the outdoors by spending the day at the beach soaking up the sun, kayaking or canoeing on Lake Huron, fishing the Saugeen River, exploring the countryside on one of the many walking trails, or playing a round of golf at one of the areas golf courses.
• Visit nearby Sauble Falls and have lunch at the picnic site that includes a children’s adventure playground. During the spring and fall spawning runs for Rainbow Trout and Chinook salmon, watch the fish struggle over each ledge of the cascading waterfall to spawn upstream. The historic falls are also the end of the Rankin River canoe route - ideal for novice canoeists.
• For a bit of culture, take in an art class at the Southampton Art School and Gallery or learn about rich local history at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Center.
