This 2 Unit home boasts completely separate living corridors attached only by the front mudroom. Here guests enter either unit through a secured lock and key, as well as key code entrance. This cabin invites tons of natural light with huge windows. Inside you will find an entirely custom built home renovated in 2022. Enjoy stone countertops, hickory wood cupboards, stainless steel appliances, large living and dining space and fully equipped kitchen. Rest easy knowing you have all the comforts you’ll need in your northern cottage vacation rental.
We guarantee guests will have no trouble catching ZZZ’s on Goosedown plush pillows, 500 thread count cotton sheets, light and fluffy down comforters and brand new bamboo mattresses throughout.
In bedroom one ( thanks to the 12 foot high ceilings) you can rest comfortably in a queen bed on floor level or find yourself trailing up the cool custom built staircase to a single bed or perhaps up a few more steps to another single bed. We called this “the bunk-bed-room”. A very interesting utilization of space; designed to be a fun hangout spot for kids or a small family! A great place to crash after a long day.
In addition, this cottage also has a luxurious and spacious master bedroom with a king bed, and a stunning large closet with antique double barn doors.
In the Bathroom, the powder room/sink area is separated from the shower and toilet area by an antique sliding barn door. Intended to add additional privacy to your washroom area 👍🏼
This lower unit was originally a massive garage to which we renovated to be a whole house of its own. Note the edgy imperfections in the concrete, like paint stains and oil marks. We enjoyed the character so much that we decided to sealed the concept floor with a concrete sealer paint so it can still tell the story of its original garage life! Total bonus that the floors are actually radiant heating, concrete floors!
We love all the natural light that comes in through the huge windows and sliding doors in the kitchen. The window space, (spanning what was once the large garage door) let’s in so much morning light now. Truly magical!

Guest have access to the entire
Lower unit and yard space. This includes The fire pit and barbeque area, docking accommodations and the large yard on the Still River. As well, guests will have access to a canoe and options to rent the motor boat. Access to washer and dryer facilities are available on the main floor. Many comfort/amenities are included, such as a fully stocked kitchen. Comfortable brand new organic Bamboo mattresses with goose down pillows and 500 thread count cotton sheets. Many clean comfortable towels, cleaning supplies, etc. All linens/towels are washed with natural detergent. Home is thoroughly cleaned before/after each guest by professional cleaners.

During summer months, please confirm fire ban status. 🔥
Lots of wildlife in the area, including bears and rattlesnakes. Close all doors before going to bed. Especially glass sliding doors. Do not leave open. And take caution when walking near shorelines or in heavily forested areas. Keep screens closed as much as possible, especially in the evening to avoid mosquitoes in the house. 🐻 🐍 🦟
