Here you live in a nice cottage with an incredible sea location just outside Oskarshamn. The cottage was completely renovated in 2018 and is in very good condition. In the kitchen you will find most of what you need such as stove, oven, fridge / freezer and microwave. Adjacent to the kitchen is the living room with lovely views of the bay. The room is furnished with a cozy sofa, a tv and a dining table. Through the patio door you come out to a large terrace with striking sea views. Here you can sit and relax in the evening sun. At the front there is also a small terrace that has morning sun. There are two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and the other a bunk bed. From both rooms you have a view of the water. The bathroom is nice and has a toilet, shower and washing machine. House number 11 on the map
Down by the water you will find several different seating areas that you can use during your holiday. There is also a canoe for exciting excursions in the archipelago. Fishing in the sea is completely free for anyone who fishes with hand tools.
The cottage is located in Gunnarsö holiday village and just a stone's throw from Gunnarsö camping with a swimming area which is the city's best with both cliffs, sandy beach and diving tower. Here you can also rent a canoe, play miniature golf on an adventure course and eat at a restaurant.
Things to see and do in Oskarshamn and the local area
The centre of Oskarshamn with its shops and restaurants is a 5-minute drive away. In the summer, the ferry goes from Oskarshamn to Byxelkrok if you want to make a day trip to wonderful Öland. There are also boat trips to Oskarshamn's pride island Blå Jungfrun. The holiday home is within reasonable distance for day trips to Astrid Lindgren's World, Vimmerby adventure park with a high ropes course and historic Kalmar with its well-preserved Renaissance castle and old town.
