River House is conveniently situated right next to the river which, with a short walk, leads to the beautiful Kennett River beach. Enjoy the expansive open plan living with spectacular views of the ocean, the river and the abundance of wildlife.
The home is large and well thought out. There are 3 levels, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and an extra toilet in the downstairs playroom/shed.
Level 3:
On the top floor is the master bedroom with walk in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. The views from the master bedroom are incredible. Not only can you watch the sun rise over the ocean from your king sized bed, but there are uninterrupted views of the Otway bush to enjoy as well. There is a Wifi mesh extender box on this level.
Level 2:
The entrance/main level consists of the open plan living, kitchen and dining area, along with a second king bedroom with dual entry en-suite bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen features Blanco induction cook-top and Blanco oven, dishwasher, butlers pantry, and Nespresso coffee machine (don't forget to bring your own pods). The fridge is equipped with an unlimited ice and water dispenser. The property is on filtered tank water throughout.
Light filled and spacious, this large kitchen and dining area enjoys idyllic views over the river, the Otway gum trees, and the ocean. Thoughtful design includes a living area tucked just off to the side, with comfy couches, wall mounted Smart TV and Foxtel. Enjoy the warmth and atmosphere of the wood heater, there is also a split system heater and air conditioner in the main living room. This is ducted through to the lower level. This main level also has a Sonos sound system for speakers inside near the dining area and out on the balcony. All you need to do is download the Sonos app and connect your device to the system to enjoy your own music.
The large deck extends out from the living and dining areas, and features an 8 person hot spa! The spa is fully automated and heated (ready for use - no waiting to heat up), located securely behind a pool fence and gate at one end of the deck, overlooking the river and trees. This is such a great spot to sit back and relax, taking in the views.
The fabulous deck also includes a family BBQ, dining setting, and outdoor couch.
The large laundry is also on this level, and includes a washing machine and heat pump dryer.
Level 1:
The downstairs level contains the second living area, 2 further bedrooms, a bathroom and separate powder room. The 2 bedrooms each have excellent quality tri-bunk beds - a queen size on the bottom and a king single bed on top, all with high quality mattresses. This downstairs living area also has large comfy couches, large TV (converted to smart TV with the Telstra T Box), DVD player and a selection of DVDs, Wifi mesh extender and queen sofa bed. The family bathroom has a bath, shower and separate toilet. There is also a small balcony on this level that leads out to the river.
