Keepers Watch is our beautiful, romantic Shepherds Hut/Tiny House a true GLAMPing experience for couples. If you are looking to escape the norm for a bit, then this is the place for you. If you like the thought of the great outdoors and being close to nature and eco-friendly but are not so keen on the compost loo and walking to your cooking facilities or shower block then look no further.
Keepers Watch our tiny house has it all, stunning location and views, an en-suite shower room, fully functioning kitchen, internet, TV and all the electric you could wish for. It is fully heated and warm and toasty on the not so nice days. For those of you who want to engage with the great outdoors then you can cook outside if you wish on the open fire pit with western-style BBQ or simply toast some marshmallows. There are comfortable chairs for sitting around the fire, just chilling and a table and chair set for outdoor dining. In the evening sit and watch the star-filled skies – find a shooting star – and listen to the peace, quiet and wildlife while snuggled up in one of our soft 100% British Wool blankets, we even provide hot water bottles.
Keepers Watch is set on its own and is just a short walk from the old stone farmyard where the Barn and Stables our other holiday lets and our farmhouse are located. We are an adult only site with a maximum of six guests at a time so it is truly peaceful. The hut is tucked into the bank overlooking an ancient wood, river valley and farmland. RyePark is a growing smallholding with 11 acres of pasture and nature reserve all of which you are free to explore. There are beautiful walks on your doorstep across farmland, around reservoirs along the river bank or through the woods. Watch the lambs playing, give the sheep a cuddle and watch the chickens, just unwind and relax either at the Hut or at one of our picnic areas.
Keepers Watch has a double bed which folds down from the wall, but don't worry it is all made up and ready to jump into with its wool duvet and pillows. Calm and quiet for that restful night's sleep you have been longing for.
