APPALACHIAN REGIONAL PARK
For an unparalleled getaway, the Parc des Appalaches offers a range of activities for the whole family. Come and discover its network of 120 km of hiking trails. See the waterfalls of Ruisseau des Cèdres and Rivière Devost, the cascades of Rivière de la Loutre, eskers and bogs. Grab the awe-inspiring viewpoints atop Sugar Loaf Mountain and Grande Coulée Mountain. Step over the magnificent suspended footbridges allowing you to cross the Rivière Noire Nord-Ouest and explore this meandering river by canoe, kayak or pontoon.Possibility to rent boats in the summer, snowshoes, Fatbikes and snow scooters in the winter.
Directly on the site, several hiking trails cross the Grande Coulée mountain. This mountain, with an altitude of 853 m, is the highest peak in Montmagny-Sud. The Orignaux trail climbs to the summit crossing the Coulée stream many times thanks to footbridges. The Ghosts, Rock Shelters and Serpentine trails allow hikers to explore the different areas of the mountain. It is accessed by the Orignaux trail.There will be views of the village at the bottom of the mountain and of the former Grande Coulée mountain ski resort, as well as a panorama extending to the mountains on the north shore of the St. Lawrence.

45 minutes away, the Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse golf course offers a 6,468-yard course and presents a breathtaking picturesque panorama. It extends over two levels and is surrounded by the Boyer River. The terrain is dotted with several lakes and presents quite a challenge.
35 minutes away, in the heart of the Appalachians, is the access to the Black North-West River. This magnificent meandering waterway, which was once used for driving, reveals a wild landscape rich in flora and fauna. 30 km long, it begins its journey at Lac Talon and ends at Lac Frontière. The ferry terminal for the crossing to the island is located in Montmagny, approximately 40 minutes from the complex. The ferry NM Grue-des-Iles shuttles between Isle-aux-Grues and Montmagny at the rate of two to four round trips per day. These crossings last 25 minutes and are made according to the tides which vary daily.
