About this space
This guest suite has a separate entrance and privacy, plus borders Knob Noster State Park on two sides. Guests will be very close to hiking and biking trails, plus restaurants and shopping. Take in the wonders of nature while enjoying a glass of wine & privacy. The hot tub is just out the suite door. Relax and enjoy nature during all seasons. Guests have their own patio with table and chairs, grill, and a metal firepit. The State Park is your view.
The space
There is a queen bed, day bed and a hide -a- bed that is twin size. The room will sleep four. No smoking allowed inside or out. The suite is surrounded on three sides by woods. The back patio is for the guests' use. The hot tub is just outside the suite. The hot tub seats 4 adults comfortably and has a cover. The suite is at the back of the house and is very private. Cooking out doors is a great way to get back to nature and this can be done on a fire pit grill combination or Weber grill on the patio. There is a kitchenette with sink, large refrigerator with freezer plus microwave, electric skillet, coffee pot, crock pot, air fryer, ricer, dishes, silverware, drinking glasses, and wine glasses. There is no stove but prepare a meal with the electric appliances. A faux electric wood stove will add extra heat and a tower fan are in the suite. Because the suite is a part of the home heating and cooling system, I keep the air conditioner at 75 degrees and because it is on the lower level, it is somewhat cooler than that. In the winter I set the temperature at 69/70. There is a table with chairs and umbrella on the patio by the grill and a table and chairs on the screened porch. This place is suitable for ages twelve and over. If you are planning on having more people over, please inform the host first. The suite is in the woods so guests might see little critters like possum, groundhogs, turkey and deer. The room is sprayed regularly because it is in the woods. No PARTIES. NO SMOKING INSIDE OR OUT.
Guest access
Guests have a separate entrance to the suite at the back of the house. There are steps down to the back entrance or take the slope down. The way is lite with patio lights strung along the way. Lights are on a timer, and guest can adjust to their liking and needs. The hot tub is available for guests' use. The back patio is for the guests' use, and there is a fire pit and grill for fixing a home cooked meal over an open fire. Guests can have as much privacy as they need or can have contact with the host if they are in need of help. A special place on the left side of garage door will be available for your parking to make it easy to get to and from the suite.
