Welcome to this gorgeous oceanfront villa just 35 minutes from downtown St. John's! Nestled at the end of Marina Drive in the scenic Marina Shores Development, you'll find this new, open, airy home with gorgeous, panoramic views and a hot tub for six. Park in your driveway, relax on your private patio, dip in the hot tub and enjoy the view. Our stylish home offers breathtaking views of the Holyrood Bay, a wood-burning fireplace, an outdoor fire pit, sleeping arrangements for 10, and so much more!
The space
Go up the front steps to the large covered front porch to enter the front door, use your unique access code on the smart lock, and you're in! On your left are a powder room and a door leading up the stairs to a spacious and secluded open-concept bedroom/living space (perfect for guests who need extra privacy from the group). This space has a queen bed, couch, desk for a laptop-friendly workspace, and a SmartTV. Back on the main floor, enter the home, and you're in the bright, fresh, open-concept living space with an incredible vaulted ceiling and large windows for taking in the ocean view. Keep an eye out while taking in the view; guests have seen whales, dolphins, tuna, and eagles. Let us know what you see! In this space, you'll be treated to a full kitchen with a Nespresso machine, dining space (table with place for 6, island dining for 4), living room with a wood-burning fireplace and a 75" SmartTV plus access to the back deck. To the right of the fireplace is a porch where you can access the back deck where the hot tub is. From there, you can take the stairs and go to the backyard. To the left of the fireplace is a hallway that takes you to the rest of the living space. The primary bedroom has a full bathroom ensuite and a large walk-in closet on your right. Further down the hallway, you'll discover three more bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a spacious laundry room (look here for board games!).
On the back deck, you will find a gorgeous panoramic ocean view and a BBQ and hot tub too! Down on the grass, you'll find a fire pit for your enjoyment and a pathway down to the water. You'll love picking blueberries and raspberries in the grassy areas nearby! Please note the water is not for swimming, and there is no beach, it's only for visual/auditory enjoyment of the ocean water, plus the pathway offers to explore the lightly wooded area. Children should be supervised at all times in these areas.
Guest access
The guests have access to the whole upper level of the house, exclusive use of the front yard, hot tub, back yard, driveway and pathway to the water. The upper level of the house and hot tub are all exclusively for guest use. So that you know, there are long-term tenants who live in a separate suite below and use a private entrance and the driveway on the side of the house and the garage.
Other things to note
IMPORTANT: There are quiet and respectful long-term tenants downstairs in an in-law suite on the lower level. The entrance is separate; however, you may not see them during your stay. They are very friendly and are happy to answer any questions you may have. They also use the driveway down the side of the house. The tenants below are OK with noise, late nights, outdoor activities, etc. and are happy to chat and answer any questions about the property, area, things to do, where to get groceries, etc.
The home has security cameras around its exterior; however, they all follow privacy guidelines.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome with the assumption that owners hold the furry family members to the same House Rules as their humans and ensure to clean up after them, so the home is found by housekeeping staff in the same condition that guests found.
