The Space:
A white picket fence leads to the welcoming pink front door, and the tone is immediately set for calm and serenity. Beautifully presented for seaside family holidays, the white colour palette is complemented by gently greyed down colours; pale neutral greys, gentle grey eucalyptus greens and white-washed herringbone timber floors. The warmth of natural timber, seascape artworks, textural rattan accessories, soft blankets and cushions add personality and style to this pared back contemporary Bohemian home.
Comfortable sofas and chairs incorporate relaxed style items like floor rugs and cane stools, with a backdrop of plantation timber shutters, romantic sheer curtains and lots of greenery outside. Curl up and relax or watch TV in one of two distinctive lounge rooms (Smart TV’s with Netflix connectivity), both styled with reference to the natural elements of the coastline.
The open plan heart of the home hosts the dining table with oversized rattan pendant, and easy flow to the covered alfresco deck - a genuine outdoor room equip with BBQ and outdoor setting. Think lazy summer afternoons on the Adirondack chairs, while the kids play on the lawn or head across the street to play at the Quay oval and playground. Come back from the beach and wash the sand off in the hot/cold outdoor shower for the quintessential beach house experience.
A combination of white, timber and rattan are perfect for the coastal kitchen, with stone benches and clean finishes identifying the refined classic look. Take a seat at the breakfast bar, beneath twin skylights that bathe the area in abundant natural light. Cook up a storm in the 900mm oven with gas cooktop and utilise the fully stocked crockery and essentials (including a coffee pod machine).
Amenities include ducted heating throughout, AC cooling , a ceiling fan in the main living area, and laundry facilities in the garage (washing machine and clothes dryer).
Four bedrooms comfortably sleep 9 guests, and all are appointed with hotel quality sheets and bath towels (BYO beach towels). The master bedroom has a Queen size bed, plantation shutters, built-in robes and sophisticated ensuite with vanity, large shower and toilet. Two more Queen bedrooms and a Bunk room (Double base/Single top bunk bed) are beautifully furnished. The family bathroom has a shower, bath, vanity and separate toilet.

Centrally located in Torquay North, you will be in walking distance to the park and sporting field (directly opposite), The Dunes Shopping Village (550m), Djila Tjarri Skate Park and Playgrounds (1km) and Whites Beach (1km).

The Neighborhood:
This house is located in a safe and friendly neighbourhood. Ideal for both the adventurous and those who want to kick back and relax.
All within the immediate area: surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, SUPing (Stand Up Paddle), diving, bike riding, running paths, skateboarding and golf or sitting back and if relaxing is more your thing then chose from many of the beautiful surrounding beaches, parklands, cafes, bars, restaurants, spas, shops or designer boutiques to spend your time.
There are great cafes, bars, the Torquay Hotel and many restaurants in Torquay, plus boutiques, clothing, shoes, swimwear, books, homewares and much more.
Surf City Plaza is home to iconic surfing brands such as Quiksilver, Roxy and Rip Curl (all originated in Torquay). There are also many other iconic brands in the Plaza, or head around the corner to Baines Crescent and find a variety of factory outlets.
Torquay has a beautiful coastline for walking, swimming and surfing. Enjoy the glorious walks along the Esplanade and beach front, especially the walk to Jan Juc.
As well as Torquay’s famous surf beaches there are family-friendly beaches. During the summer season lifeguards patrol at various locations including Torquay Back Beach, Cosy Corner and Jan Juc Beach. Fisherman’s Beach is not patrolled but is a relatively safe beach with a wide shallow bar.

Our beach house is within easy walking/riding distance to parks and shops. Off-street parking is available for 1 car in the driveway, and you will also have access to parking in the double garage.
Public transport nearby. Buses to and from Torquay and Geelong (Number 50 or 51).
Closest train station 15km away (Waurn Ponds station) for V/Line train Geelong- Melbourne.
Torquay is 1 hour 30 mins by car from Melbourne.
