Lazy Lobster is the most spacious of the island villa rentals located in the quaint and charming settlement of Spanish Wells Eleuthera Bahamas. Lazy Lobster is perched on the crest of a gently sloping hill. The beautiful garden at Lazy Lobster offers tropical plants in a rainbow of colors, a delight to the eyes. Lazy Lobster is located in a very quiet neighborhood in the middle of the historic settlement of Spanish Wells Eleuthera Bahamas. An easy breezy 45-second golf cart ride (1 min. cycle or 2 min. walk) from Lazy Lobster to the north will take guests to an unspoiled and uncrowded light pinkish sandy powder beach! Quaint shops, eateries, home bakeries, and the harbor are just a few blocks away, too. The harbor is a fun place filled with activity where guests may chat with fishermen and purchase the catch of the day.
Lazy Lobster offers a very spacious living room with French doors leading unto a covered front porch. The spacious and fully-equipped kitchen leads to the large dining room and onto the large back deck. Lazy Lobster offers a master suite with a spacious master bedroom and an ensuite private bathroom. This villa offers two more bedrooms that share another large bathroom. The covered front porch is a great place to relax at the end of the day and wave to passersby many of whom will stop to have a friendly chat. The back deck offers an area for outdoor dining and barbecue grilling. The private sun deck is a great place to read a book or do a little suntanning if guests choose.
Since Lazy Lobster is located on the crest of a gentle sloping hill, there is a seldom a day without balmy breezes, which means the villa is very comfortable most days throughout the year with guests enjoying open windows, paddle fans, and the fresh air. (There is also A/C throughout the house for those guests that prefer such.)

The fishing, snorkeling, and beachcombing in the area are second to none. Lazy Lobster is fully-equipped, spacious, and relaxing, and makes an ideal home away from home. Free use of a 2-person ocean kayak, a SUP, and 2 bicycles are available on request; they are a wonderful way to explore the Spanish Wells area. (Otherwise, bicycles, SUPs & kayaks are expensive to rent separately -- if you can even find such rentals.) Golf cart rentals are plentiful in Spanish Wells and can easily be rented starting at $225/wk. = $32/day.

He got a big cooler filled with ice & drinks, we brought along some lunch and snacks, and so began one of the best days ever. We went swimming with the pigs (amazing fun). We went to Egg Island and saw beautiful colorful marine life in really shallow water that the kids could really enjoy. We boated to other islands and beaches, had a beach picnic, found some conch, sand dollars, and amazing shells, snorkeled in beautiful sea gardens, and a couple of us were brave enough to jump off a cliff! They hooked fish for the youngsters and let them reel them in. They were very patient and accommodating. We saw beautiful starfish, a huge ray, many beautiful fish, and as we were going back to the dock at the end of a great day, we saw a group of dolphins - with mamas and babies. Wow what a day! Historic Preacher’s Cave, other hidden caves, a magnificent blue hole, the truly amazing Glass Window Bridge, Queen’s Bath, and he took us to pick fresh mangoes from his farms – delicious! He’s very knowledgeable about the area having grown up “in the bush”! On a different day Capt. Scuba took us spear fishing. (He’s a local commercial lobster diver when he’s not doing tours and fishing trips for folks like us.) We caught groupers, snappers, lobsters, and other fish on which all 5 of us feasted for days.
