The name of this Costa Rica Villa is 'Villa Colibri' which means 'Hummingbird Villa'. The reason for this is that hummingbirds are frequently seen near the home. They are truly amazing birds!
The property has expansive views of the Pacific Ocean, Osa Peninsula, Isla Cano and the Terraba River delta. These spectacular views can be seen from various points on the property, including the pool deck, covered patio, living room and kitchen.
This property is the ultimate in privacy. This custom built home completed in 2012 was designed by the renowned architect Eugenia Mendez. Designed to capture the natural beauty of the vistas and to take advantage of cool mountain breezes, we have ceiling fans in all rooms as well as air conditioning in ALL rooms.
Outside living area is typical what guests love most.
Begin your day with coffee and local fruits with the sounds of the howler monkeys. Large covered sitting area with exposed beams and fan with very nice furnishings. Bar table with seating for four, sofa, chairs and gas grill. Poolside lounge chairs with breathtaking views of ocean, mountains and sounds of cascading steam and wildlife. Custom designed tile pool.
Enjoy the many sights and activities offered in this region where the jungle covered mountains reach to the sea. There are many beaches within 10 minutes of the coastal highway. Playa Ventanas is known as one of Costa Rica's most beautiful beaches. The Beach Club is a favorite of ours where you can enjoy food, drinks and a great beach. Zip line above the canopy, horseback ride on the beach or to waterfalls, fishing, rafting, surfing and snorkeling are just a few.
Every vacation rental managed by Osa Property Management will have the following provided:

Osa Property Management’s Concierge and Vacation Planner team will contact you after you have made your reservation. We will assist with making any necessary transportation arrangements from Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose (SJO), or one of the local regional airports. Palmar Sur is closest (~30 minutes) and has one flight per day in/out of San Jose, while Quepos is approximately 45 minutes from Ojochal and has multiple flights per day on either Sansa Airlines or private charters (private airplanes, helicopters are available).
We will arrange all excursions/activities/tours with reputable companies in the area, provide a link for grocery delivery, and make reservations at any restaurant. Our goal is to make your trip to Costa Rica enjoyable and as relaxing as you want it to be.

This home is located in Ojochal, Costa Rica.
Ojochal is home to beaches, restaurants. grocery stores, a pharmacy, a turtle and animal reserve and even a library.
Playa Tortuga (turtle beach) is a very common beach and has a south and a north entrance. Reserva Playa Tortuga is located en route to the south entrance of the beach, and is a volunteer organization that protects, tracks and studies turtles, caymans and birds in the area. Be sure to drop by Reserva Playa Tortuga when visiting Playa Tortuga (beach)
Playa Ventanas (windows beach) is about 5 minutes north of Playa Tortuga.
Ojochal is known throughout Costa Rica as home to some of the country's best restaurants, including Citrus, Exotica and Fusion. There are plenty of other restaurants, all with different menus. In addition, to fine dining there is live music most evenings at Los Gatos Locos (the crazy cats), fine baked items at The French Bakery and more there are simple, authentic Costa Rica restaurants with their rice and beans, casadas and fruit juices.
Guests will be escorted up to the home by an Osa Property Management/Costa Rica Las Villas Representative.

Check-in must be completed by 8:30 pm.
In special circumstances, and confirmed in advance, check-in can be completed by 10 pm, but there will be an additional charge of $75.
The property is a private home with no shared spaces. Guests will have the exclusive use of the property and the PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL.
Home is accessible by any SUV/AWD/4x4 or 2x4 SUV.
