Sheltered near the entrance of the small-scale bungalow park Stille Wille in Meijel, you will find our holiday home called Magnolia Woods. We took inspiration for the name from the Magnolia tree that stands in the forest garden and therefore fits perfectly with the house. The house is 96 m2, furnished with care and equipped with all the necessities to make you feel right at home.
The ground floor was renovated in 2023, including a new kitchen with built-in appliances.
The hot tub is ready to be filled in the woodland garden and is heated by the wood-burning stove. An activity that you can do in peace. We ensure that there is a set of wood ready to heat once.
From the forest garden you immediately enter the living room with open kitchen. Completely equipped so that you have the option to cook and bake simply or extensively as desired. There is a dishwasher, oven, induction hob and spacious refrigerator with freezer compartment. Separate appliances are a (filter) coffee maker, kettle and toaster. For the convenience of our guests, we also have a supply of ground coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil, salt and pepper on the counter.
From the spacious sofa in the seating area you can use your own streaming account on the Smart TV or use your own devices via WiFi. There are games and books ready for offline entertainment.
The bedroom on the ground floor has two single beds. This room is suitable for children and people with reduced mobility. The bathroom is also located on the ground floor and has a neat shower, washbasin and toilet. A set of shower linen is available for everyone. Via the spiral staircase in the living room you reach the second bedroom with a double bed and balcony with a view over the park. All comfortable beds are made upon arrival, so the enjoyment can start straight away. The garden faces southeast and the trees provide sufficient shelter for a pleasant stay even on the hottest summer days. There is a garden set on the terrace so that you can sit outside as desired. Children are very welcome! We have a camping bed and high chair ready for you. The open spiral staircase is not secured. As a parent, consider whether this is desirable during your stay. A maximum of 2 dogs are also welcome. You will be charged €20 for this once per stay. If you are staying with dogs or small children, it is important to know that there is no fence around the garden. From the house you can walk straight into the Simonshoekse Bos, where a 10km MTB route is also ready to be ridden. The village of Meijel has 6,000 inhabitants and is located in the middle of the Peel area. The daily necessary amenities and several nice restaurants can be found 5 minutes by car from the house. Meijel is located close to the Groote Peel National Park and is therefore surrounded by forests and raised bogs. A special nature reserve to discover while walking and cycling. The cities of Roermond, Weert, Venlo and Eindhoven can be reached in 30 minutes by car if you want to shop and/or visit the hustle and bustle. Fun activities in the area include Toverland Amusement Park, Funforest Venlo-Tegelen, 'In de 7e hemel' tea and picking garden, the castle gardens in Arcen and swimming at the Blauwe Meertje in Weert.
