Relaxed, cheerful, and full of little luxuries. Just north of Bayfield, Sunny Pines is a cheerful lakefront cottage surrounded by pines and designed for slow mornings, lakeside lounging, and unforgettable evenings around the fire. Whether you’re off to explore Huron County’s wineries and trails or just want to unplug and unwind with a glass of wine and a lakeside sunset — this is your happy place.
And yes, pets are welcome. Because four-legged family members deserve a break, too.
INSIDE:
Start your day with sunlight pouring into the open-concept kitchen, living, and dining area. Whether you’re brewing fresh coffee or flipping pancakes for a crowd, the bright and modern kitchen has everything you need to make vacation mornings delicious. Enjoy your meal at the big dining table (perfect for late-night board games, too!) while soaking in the view through oversized windows.
Kick back in the living room with a good book or stream your favourite series on the smart TV – all while the gas fireplace keeps things extra cozy on cooler nights. There’s something special about curling up indoors while watching the waves just beyond the trees.
There is a window Air Conditioner to help the heat - but this is NOT central air conditioning

Bedroom 2 - Double Bed
Bedroom 3 - Double Bed

OUTSIDE:
Step outside and let the lake breeze do the rest. The backyard patio is made for long, lazy afternoons – complete with dining for six, cozy lounge seating, and plenty of Adirondack chairs positioned just right to soak up that view. Morning coffee here tastes better, trust us.
There’s a front patio with a propane BBQ (hello, grilled everything) and a firepit tucked to the side – perfect for roasting marshmallows or sharing stories under the stars.
And yes – you’ve got semi-private access to the lake, so go ahead and dip your toes in or take the inflatable kayaks for a spin. We’ve got life jackets ready to go, too.
NOTE: Approx.100 stairs to the lake and the stairs are right beside your cottage. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.
