From November 1- April 15 please be aware that the Utah Department of Transportation and Town of Brighton rules about canyon travel require snow tires (3PMSF) or chains to make it safely up the canyon and to the home. Snow plowing is provided by local vendor and is intermittent. Cottonwood Lodging does not have control over snow plowing. Please plan to check in by 8pm to avoid unplowed roads if it is storming and note that this home can accommodate ONLY 2 vehicles.

Résumé: Sunnyside cabin worked perfectly for our group of four adult buddies trip. We ski'd three days at Brighton and on a whim did a fourth day at Snowbird and easily was able to shoot up and down the canyon to anywhere we needed to go. The kitchen and dining area is the star at Sunnyside and is a great spot to land at the end of the day. The bedrooms are comfortable but tight, but offer all that it needs to to simply crash and repeat a hard day on the slopes tomorrow. The drive-way and road into the cabin is the only challenge. Appropriately disclosed by the owner, but our rental car company cancelled our reservation and we were stuck last minute with a mini-van. Not ideal. Stick with 4x4 SUV or Truck if you are coming here. The rental company was awesome. Proactive communication the whole time, super professional. The cabin is exactly what it is billed as. The only thing missing is a hot tub.
