The Space:
This suite is one of four located in a building with ample parking and peaceful meadow views from your private back deck. This building is the first stage of renovation of a boutique inn located moments from the Blue Ridge Parkway-- a primary lodge and another building with rooms are under construction with planned completion in 2025. Park in the open parking area near your building and enter via keypad with your unique code. Your suite features a full granite workspace / desk with coffee bar, water boiler, retro mini fridge, microwave, a custom top grain leather sofa, 42" Smart TV, stunning environmentally friendly Electric Fireplace, closet and custom finishes throughout. The King sized bed features luxury 800 thread count linens, deluxe pillows and anti allergen, unscented cleansers so our guests with allergies can breathe easy. Custom floating wood side tables handcrafted in Virginia fralnk the bed, and each bedside features ample charging ports and wall mount reading lamps on independent dimmers. The walls are hand brushed using a centuries-old all natural Limewash formula that leaves a beautiful brushed texture, and has a naturally antimicrobial and air purifying finish. Abundant light sources, ranging from direct such as pendants and recessed lighting, and many on dimmers, along with ambient lighting from the flickering flames on the electric fireplace make it easy to create the the perfect mood any time of day. A cased opening leads you to the granite sink and straight ahead to your French Door with access to your private back deck. Pull back the blackout curtains to have views of the grassy meadow, trees and open skies. You may see deer grazing in the morning, or spot a shooting star in the clear night sky. Two lounge seats provide a perfect vantage point to settle in and take in a view, or read a good book. Across from the waterfall sink, a natural wood door opens to the toilet cove, and full walk-in luxury shower with ceramic tile and natural river rock flooring. In addition to the heating/cooling system in the suite and electric fireplace, the bathroom offers an additional heater to guarantee comfort on chilly mornings. The pond on the property also offers picnic tables to sit near the water.

The Neighborhood:
The boutique inn is undergoing a full renovation, of which this is the first stage. The property is located in a pastoral nook in the hills, surrounded by verdant trees and evergreens and clear, crisp skies. We provide internationally acclaimed local Red Rooster coffee to get your day started, and provide lots of recommendations on where to take your day from there-- breakfast just down the parkway in Meadows of Dan, or head to a Rocky Knob Recreation Area for a hike and epic views. Our property is also located 14 miles from the iconic Bluegrass town of Floyd.
Getting Around:
You will likely want a car during your stay. From here, skilled cyclists can hop on the Blue Ridge Parkway for a training ride with memorable views.

You can rest assured knowing that your room is your haven during your stay- we will not enter during your stay (unless you let us know of a maintenance issue we can address). As such the amenities are intended to be used for the duration of your stay, similar to a vacation rental home. We provide starter amounts of Red Rooster coffee, creamer and sweeteners to get your mornings started right before you head out for your day. No need to start from ground zero on researching the area; upon booking we provide a thoughtfully curated list of recommendations to allow you to arrive and be in the know for all types of activities.
