Very comfortable and creatively embellished studio apartment with lots of windows and skylights. Situated on a large lot with lots of privacy. This is a great space to spread out and relax. Close to the lake, trails and beach and short drive to Astoria or Seaside, which has lots of fun restaurants and shops. Enjoy our evening lazer light show in the garden. 2 person maximum unit.
The space
This studio apartment is perfect for a single or couple-amenities include a queen bed, sofa sleeper, kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, toaster & refrigerator. Kick back and enjoy watching TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, HULU and ESPN. The Hideaway is not suitable for young children or infants.
You can picnic in the the yard, bring your boat, jet ski or kayaks and enjoy the lake. You can also head to the beach less than 1 mile away . Take a short drive to check out the beautiful coastline and history at Fort Stevens. Astoria lies 11 miles north, and Seaside is 6 miles south for quick trips for dining and shopping. Astoria Golf Course is 1 mile away for a day of fun golfing. Enjoy our evening lazer light show in the garden.

You will have your own entrance to the studio apartment with off street parking. We have space to park your boat or trailer. No RV Camping.

We have a no pet policy. There is a $150 additional pet cleaning fee for disability pets.
The hideaway studio apartment is on the second story with staircase to entry. Must climb stairs - 16 steps
The hideaway is NOT suitable for infants of young children.
We may have other guests staying with us during your stay.
There are some shared spaces like the outdoor skybridge and parking area.
Please be quiet when outdoors.
Amenity limitations -There is a microwave oven and toaster for cooking.
No overnight guests without previous approval from your host. $25 per night guest fee for entire reservation or cancellation of reservation.

CLEANING: YOU ARE REQUIRED to leave the property in the same general condition as when you arrived.

ADDITIONAL Vacation rental guest(s) LIABILTY:
Vacation rental guest(s) will be held liable for replacement and/or repair of items that are damaged, and not attributable to normal wear and tear. Vacation rental guest(s) will be responsible for any damages caused by willful or malicious acts occurred during their stay. Tenants(s) agree to accept liability for any damages caused to the property (other than normal wear and tear) by Vacation rental guest(s) , including, but not limited to: furnishing, landscaping, misuse of appliances, and/or equipment. If damages are in excess of the Cleaning deposit being charge, Vacation rental guest(s) agree to reimburse the Hosts, David Roberts (owner), for cost incurred to repair/replace damaged items.
We appreciate you reporting all maintenance items, and we will respond to them as soon as possible.
WHAT WE SUPPLY:
The property is fully furnished, and is equipped to include: bedspreads, linens, blankets, pillows, towels, as well as a full size fridge & minimally equipped kitchenette with microwave, toaster & coffee maker. If there is a specialty item that you are accustomed to, please provide for those items by bringing them with you. WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
You must bring with you such items as all personal toiletries, beach towels and beach blankets.

The Owner, David & Denise Roberts do not assume any liability for loss. Vacation rental guest(s) are aware that this home has stairs and they can possibly become a problem for small children and the elderly or handicapped. Vacation rental guest(s) agree to hold harmless, the aforementioned entities, for damage or injury to persons or their personal property during the duration of their rental. It is understood that they are not accountable for liability of any inconveniences arising from any temporary defect or stoppage in supply of water, gas, electricity or plumbing that is beyond their control. Further, they cannot be held liable for any loss or damage to Vacation rental guest(s) personal property caused by weather conditions, natural disasters, or other events beyond their control.
The undersigned, for himself/herself, his/her heirs, assignors, executors, and administrators, fully releases and discharges Owners from any and all claims, demands and causes of action, by reason of any injury or damage which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any of his/her guest as a result of, or in connection with, the occupancy of the premises, and agrees to hold Owner free and harmless of any claim or suit arising. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their principals, agents, successors or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney fees and cost.
