The Space:

Guest Access:
As our guest, you will have unrestricted access to the entire house and the expansive outdoor area. Feel free to explore the property, but please be careful as there are fallen trees and a small creek. In addition to the dedicated compostable toilet, there is an outhouse (for summer use only) near the stream for your convenience. Please note that the small shed on the property is exclusively for the owner's use.

Conveniently located less than 10 minutes from the Tamarack Mountain Resort, The Bluebird Tiny House is the perfect basecamp for your winter skiing and summer mountain biking adventures. Getting Around:
Make your way across the lake and then take a left on West Mountain Road. From there take a right on Bluebird Trail, make your way up the hill and take a slight right at the fork (bluebird tr./Lark tr. intersection). Then at the next intersection take a left and continue to go up the hill. We are the 2nd tiny house on the right side.

Park in the designated parking space in front of the tiny house.

In the winter, the road is plowed and two dedicated parking spots are snowplowed out for our guests right in front of the tiny house. Please use a 4x4 or AWD vehicle that you are comfortable driving winter backroads. A snow shovel is provided in case it snows during your stay, which may require you to shovel the steps prior to entering.

Other Things to Note:
Due to the absence of a septic system, our property uses a Separett Composting Toilet. We will provide detailed instructions in the online house manual to ensure your comfort.

We have two additional electric heaters that can be used in addition to our main minisplit (heat pump) wall unit. Use them as you need and please turn them off while you’re away from the property.

The minisplit has its own remote to control the heat. Please do not put the temperature over 82 as it will overwork the unit and defeat its purpose.

The dirt road to access the house may require 4WD in winter conditions.
