To relax and unwind take a dip in the enclosed and solar heated lap pool or in the winter months enjoy the warmth of the crackling wood fire. The established garden Features whimsical pathways, accent lighting to selected sculptures, and rock walls created from the hand-collected bounty of nearby farmlands, the lower wetlands are home to an abundance of frogs and Southern Pigmy Perch. With comfort, energy efficiency and respect for the environment, “Tanglin” is a welcome sanctuary just 50 minutes from the Melbourne rush.

The forested slopes of Mount Macedon can be seen from virtually every corner of the region, even Melbourne. Mount Macedon village sits approximately 615 metres above sea level, while further up on the summit you will reach 1001 metres elevation. The mountain is a wonderland of heritage gardens and wild bushscapes of eucalyptus, pine and tall Mountain Ash. Inviting cellar doors and soul-soothing views. The iconic Hanging Rock is only 15 minutes’ drive from Mount Macedon.
