One bedroom unit for a single or couple. Immersed in a residential neighbourhood, within reasonable distance to several tourist spots and Avarua Town Centre. Warm and inviting home from me and mine, to you and yours!
The space
Te Ravaki North Home, ideal for those looking for a friendly and convenient getaway, located inland of Nikao. Close to both the busyness of town and the serenity of the local island life - Te Ravaki gives you the best of both worlds.
Unit
One bedroom with queen bed, bathroom, kitchen and big bi-fold doors open out to a wrap-around private decking for relaxing. Semi-enclosed with trellis for privacy.
The airport runway is less than 100m away, although flights are relatively few and far between throughout the day/night and the noise has never been an issue for us and other locals of the area.
Shared driveway, with private parking spot.

We also have another home on the same property, where we (hosts) live and will be considerate of you during your stay :)
Guest access
Te Ravaki Unit is just a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach (less than 5mins on your trusty car/scooter). This beach, known as 'Social Centre', will provide you with tropical white sand, crystal clear blue waters and one of the best sunset views the island can offer. A further 5 minute walk on from the beach, sits the widely popular Black Rock - perfect for swimming and photo ops. Another 5 minutes in the opposite direction of the beach, is the newly mural-painted Seawall. Perfect for watching airplanes land and take-off above you, almost close enough to touch. Try your hand at braving the Jet Blast area!
Being close to town - shops and other attractions are never too far away.
Would recommend having transport or be ready to walk as the main road is a 10 minute walk away (it is nice to walk through the neighbourhood though!), where buses can be caught.

POTENTIAL FOR NOISE
This home is situated in a family filled neighbourhood, and there is noise expected (nothing too extreme). However, if you are sensitive to normal neighbourhood noise please consider this BEFORE booking. In saying that, please have the same consideration for your neighbours - quiet hours are from 11pm-7am.
NEIGHBOURHOOD
Our neighbourhood has dogs and children. Both are very friendly, but dogs can wander through at times. You are welcome to chase the dogs away as they do just need redirecting back to their homes.
There are children about the neighbourhood playing, at times, but they do know to stay well away from your areas of the property.
EARLY/LATE CHECK IN/OUT POLICY
As hosts, we are understanding of the flight times in Rarotonga and can be lenient as to when guests are able to check in/out. However, at our discretion you could be asked to purchase an extra night to cover your early/late arrival/departure.
