Our darling studio apartment is located in the heart of Adams Morgan - activities, entertainment, and culture surround this urban oasis in the city.
The Metro, 16th St shopping at DC USA, Mount Pleasant’s restaurants, coffee houses and shops, Rock Creek Park, and the Adams Morgan neighborhood are all within easy walking distance. Washington DC’s iconic monuments and museums are a short Metro, taxi, bus or Uber ride away.
We can comfortably sleep 3/4 guests in a queen sized bed, and a full sized loveseat sofa bed - ideal for families, couples, business travelers and the like.
There is a European "bijou" kitchen perfect for whipping up a small meal before embarking on your adventures (complete with 3 burner tops, a generous mini-fridge, coffee station with a keurig, and a microwave) - Adams Morgan is known for it's plethora of excellent restaurants, so foodies will be right at home.
Hear the calls of a true "Lion King" - Luke the Lion; both soothing and exciting, immediately transporting guests in a stimulated safari!Experience the majesty of African lions in the wilds, while nestled safely in your newly remodeled apartment in the heart of DC.

There is a family living upstairs. Please note that the everyday sounds and noises of family life (footsteps, stairs, kids playing, etc.) can be heard in both directions. You will undoubtedly hear them (and they will hear you) as they go about their everyday life.

Adams Morgan is a stones throw from the home and is a hub of activity! No shortage of restaurants and bars down 18th St, and just parallel lies Columbia Rd, for a slower paced night out with can’t miss designer restaurants!

Résumé: Froto and Sam would have been quite comfortable staying here. I’m not sure how this space is a legal living space with those low ceiling heights and even lower bulkheads. I cracked my head on the bulkhead over the toilet at least four times and then scalped myself once going into the linen closet. The steep entry stairs combined with the extremely low entryway head clearance made it nearly impossible to get inside with our large heavy suitcase. Adding to the charm is the significantly sloping floors that allowed us to discover that the unit has only been surfaced cleaned for quite some time. The cleaning service really needs to get under the furniture every now and then. The extra pillows were disgustingly stained and should have been thrown away a long time ago. I made a conscious decision not to check the pillows already covered with pillowcases. All of the pillows seemed to be a hodgepodge of old pillows from someone’s home. Don’t get me wrong, the place is cute and well equipped. It has everything you will need for your stay. Some of the other reviews mentioned not staying here if you’re over 6’ tall, at 5’11”, I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone over 5’ 7”. It’s in a nice neighborhood and the location is great for getting to the zoo. It a little far from the Metro stations (15-20 min walk), but not horrible. The bus is very close, but trying to navigate the bus and metro was stressful for first timers trying to get somewhere on a schedule.
