The Space:
Tiny Retreat - Soulitude is located in the rural town of Beaconsfield Upper, south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District. Puffing Billy Train, Aura Vale Lake Park, and Gumbuya World are just a few of the nearby attractions in the area. A comfortable accommodation with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities.

The bathroom follows ecologically sustainable principles, including a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save water through using eco-friendly toilets to save the environment.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas, including the bush tracks at the back of the property and access to their own driveway from the main road, which will be used to travel on mountain bikes to go to town if they want to.

However, guests will have restricted access to the land host's private residence including the front yard. Except, when there is an emergency such as maintenance or repairs that need the host's attention.

Tiny Retreat - Soulitude sits in the tranquil neighborhoods of Beaconsfield Upper, Victoria. Where you can enjoy bike riding trails, locally owned shops, restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and more. Only 40 mins from Melbourne CBD and 20 mins from Mount Dandenong.

- Puffing Billy Train is a popular activity that travels through forests, rolling green hills, and open farmlands.

By car:

- 40 minute drive from Melbourne CBD
- Approx 1 hour drive from the Melbourne airport

By public transport:

- Access to the accomodation is by car as there is no public buses or trains. Uber is also available in the area and optional.
- Pick up from the closest train station (15 mins away) can be organised, as can pick up from the Melbourne airport by the owner.

Other Things to Note:
- No smoking on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Succeeding use of firewood costs $25 per load
- You are always free to leave feedback in the guest book
- Free staple food is provided such as eggs, bacon, milk, butter, and bread in the kitchen space
- We also provide fresh eggs, and locally sourced and organic products to guests when possible
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- Breakfast is available for an additional fee and upon prior request by guest
- Meditterenean Platters and special dietary requirements are available for pre-order
- Please note that the swimming pool is temporarily closed due to an undisclosed decision that has yet to be made. If you're interested, please let us know 24 hrs before arrival.

Safety Guidelines

- We advise guests to keep an eye on children inside as the stairs to the loft is quite steep
- Guests with infants are recommended to bring their own portable travel cot during their stay
- We strictly advise guests to follow these safety guidelines to avoid potential accidents on the property

Important note:

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our compost toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
