LOCATION & ENVIRONMENT
Villa Amara is located in a highly sought-after residential area of Etang-Salé-les-Hauts. It is located in a cul-de-sac used only by local residents, and is therefore very quiet. The shops and many restaurants in the town centre are just a few minutes' walk away (less than 5 minutes by car). Situated between the sea and the forest, in a green setting, the beautiful black sand beach of Étang-Salé-les-Bains is just a 10-minute drive away, as is the Route des Tamarins, which will take you all over the island. While the villa's location means you can take full advantage of the view over the Indian Ocean, it also provides the perfect setting for a number of well-marked walks and hikes (on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike/electric bike) in the Étang-Salé national forest. For the more adventurous, the cycle paths and seaside trails offer beautiful walks and vantage points for sumptuous photos.
