Our Menorquin architect's villa built 250 meters from the beach will seduce you with its modern style and perfect privacy. Located on a dead end street our villa was built on the edge of a canyon with magnificent sea views.
Very spacious, 280 m2, this villa can easily accommodate up to 10 people.
We rented this villa to our architect friend for years and last year he decided to sell us his dream villa. We did not hesitate for a second and are now the owner. The villa is being furnished to the best of its ability with a mix of contemporary and old style to keep a certain charm. The property is located at the end of the impasse, carrer de dalt, and has 2000 square m2 of land on which 3 separates buildings have been built. The main house with the kitchen and the living room, 110 m2 on one level overlooking the garden with extraordinary views of the sea. All in colored smooth concrete, the floor greatly contributes to the charms of these rooms with high ceilings and large bay windows of each side which allows delicious air circulation in the summer. On the first floor you will find the master bedroom and an office with incredible views of the cove of Binisafua Platja. Bathroom adjoining the bedroom you can take your shower looking at the canyon on the east side or the sea on the south side. The floors continue above the bedroom and you will discover roof terraces with simply fabulous views. Ideal places to rest in the evening and watch the starry sky or the sunset. Below the main house you will discover the studio on the ground floor on the swimming pool with its hammam, its swimming pool and its bathroom. Beautiful place set back from the house built on the edge of the canyon. I let you imagine the beauty of this wild site without any opposite. You will wake up watching the wild doves perform their squadron flight or the Gulls soar in the air currents of the canyon. The long swimming pool contributes to the spectacular beauty of this set. Finally at the back of the house you will find the third building equipped with a garage and a laundry room on the ground floor and a large dormitory and a bedroom above with an adjoining bathroom.This building behind allows you to accommodate a family with their children in complete independence. This property allows ten people to live without being on top of each other and has multiple places to sit and enjoy the place. Having recently purchased the villa, we are in the process of equipping it to match the location with beautiful outdoor furniture and modern and comfortable indoor furniture and sofas. The bedding in each of the bedrooms is new and the choice of mattresses and linens are top notch.
Just outside the house you will find a small dirt road that descends directly to Binisafua beach (5 minutes walk). Ideal for children and for swimming, this small creek is absolutely charming both for its tranquility and for the color of its turquoise water. This beach is also the starting point for hiking or canoeing both east and west.
Below the house you will find two restaurants, a very correct pizzeria and el Txoko, a very good table from Menorca.
For your shopping you have the choice between the supermarket of San Luis, Eroski, or the small delicatessen of Suestra next to Torret. All this less than 10 minutes by car.
Menorca is an island full of contrast where you can take magnificent family walks accessible to all levels of difficulty. If you like swimming in the small heavenly creeks with some small well hidden beaches, you will be served. Menorca is certainly the most beautiful of the four islands in the Balearic Islands, it is a paradise on a human scale that will enchant you.
From a cultural point of view, Menorca benefits from two historically charged towns, Mahon and Ciutadella. Not only will you enjoy strolling through the alleys of these historic centers, but you can also go shopping and find all kinds of local crafts and clothing. Buy yourself a pair of abarcas (leather sandals) that you won't take off until your return.
Menorca is also a high place of gastronomy with a very nice list of restaurants from simple to gourmet, in the city center, in the middle of the flowery countryside and of course by the sea.
