Romantic, private, and overlooking tropical gardens and the Caribbean Sea, Villa Estrella at The Villas at The Horned Dorset is the epitome of luxury in paradise. Villa Estrella is a one-bedroom, 2 full bath luxury villa with a private plunge pool. The villa literally steps away from a stunning infinity pool and the beach is a short walk away.
On this beach, you can enjoy a morning or afternoon dip, appreciate the scenery and let the waves caress your feet.
If you are looking to relax, enjoy quiet surroundings, and still have all the fun and action Rincon has to offer a short drive away, then this is the place for you!
IMPORTANT NOTE #1: This villa is not located at The Horned Dorset Hotel (which is closed). It is located at the Villas at Horned Dorset, directly beside the hotel. The common areas and pool of the Villas are in pristine condition. Once you get off the main road, you will encounter narrow countryside roads for approx 3-5 minutes until you get to the property.
IMPORTANT NOTE #2: The complex offers a full-size generator & water tank in case of an interruption in electrical or water service.
IMPORTANT NOTE #3: The bathroom window located in the Master Bedroom suffered damage. It has now been removed and properly covered with a PVC panel.
LIVING AREAS:
You will love the way the living area seamlessly integrates the beautiful garden and ocean views. There is a 4 person dining table, and central AC. The room is elegantly furnished for sophisticated relaxation by the Caribbean Sea. The living and dining room opens to the terrace via two gorgeous wooden doors. The terrace has a private plunge pool overlooking a tropical garden with the beautiful Caribbean Sea on the horizon. There are 2 lounge chairs for sunbathing in privacy.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
The master suite is located on the second level of the villa. Upstairs, the ocean views get even better. The villa offers a four-poster mahogany king-size bed, Amalfi ceramics, hand-carved furniture, and a separate sitting area. The grand suite has a luxurious bathroom covered from floor to ceiling with white Carrara marble and features a beautiful oversized freestanding white porcelain bathtub, a shower and His & Hers sinks. There is no TV in the master bedroom.
KITCHENETTE:
The kitchenette is located on the 1st level of the villa. It offers a small refrigerator, a toaster, microwave oven, a single burner portable stovetop, a blender, and basic pots and pans for simple cooking.
LOCATION:
There are many things to do in Rincon, Puerto Rico. This part of the island is best known as "The town of beautiful sunsets." Staying at Rincon you will enjoy a laid-back atmosphere, delicious restaurants, and great surfing beaches. Here are some of our favorite things to do:
Explore the large selection of local restaurants. Some of our favorites include The English Rose, La Cambija, Carta Buena, Kaplash, El Tamboo Beside the Point, The Beach House, and La Copa Llena. Check out a new restaurant called La Serina, a great Tiki bar and sushi bar located downtown.
Relax at the secluded beach, private plunge pool, and infinity pool at The Villas at The Horned Dorset. This oceanfront property has a private area where guests can wet their feet in the ocean and soak up the sun. The apartment includes beach chairs, beach towels, and coolers.
Visit the local beaches like Steps, Maria's Beach, Sandy Beach, Domes Beach, and Corcega.
Take a picture of the beautiful "El Faro Lighthouse" at Punta Higuero.
Watch an afternoon of surfing at Marías Beach and stop for a drink at the Calypso Bar which is right by the beach.

GETTING AROUND:
Renting a car is a must when staying in Rincón. There are many activities within 15 minutes of driving distance and the roads are easy to navigate. The villa includes 1 unassigned parking spot.
AMENITIES:
West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler.
West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, and 1 dish sponge. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.
HOUSE RULES:
Check-in time is at 4:00 pm
Check-out time is at 11:00 am
NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated.
NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property.
Building quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please keep noise levels down during these hours out of respect to the neighbors.
The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights.
All bookings are contingent on signing a short-term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
Maximum occupancy of 2 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors.
Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease, or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess. Stained towels/linens will be charged.
