On arriving at the villa, you feel like you are in the countryside, but you are just a 7 minute walk from Lardos village. Villa Helios is close to all the amenities yet is situated in a beautiful rural location surrounded by olive trees and Greek countryside. It is very private and secluded in the garden and pool area, offering a wonderful sanctuary where you can relax. The Villa is completely detached offering total seclusion. There are beautiful views from all the rooms. Villa Helios therefore offers the best of both worlds - a wonderful peaceful location but within easy walking distance of a great village.
The ground floor is made up of an open plan living room with 3 sofas, a full kitchen and dining area. Also, on the ground floor is the huge master bedroom with its large double bed, additional sofa bed, cot and en-suite bathroom. Upstairs, there are two twin bedrooms, one of which leads onto a very large terrace with an outside seating area and table ideal for those summer evenings or to take in the view of the mountains and surrounding countryside. On the first floor there is a fully fitted bathroom with a bath and overhead shower, toilet and washbasin. Outside, Villa Helios offers a private pool with 6 sun-loungers, a terrace with a stone table for dining and another terrace with table and chairs for outdoor living. The garden is a very large area with Mediterranean plants and a purpose built BBQ for your enjoyment. The garden is completely enclosed and has a great grassy area for children to play. There is also a dedicated private parking area. The Villa is completely detached and not part of a development. It therefore offers privacy and the secure walled garden allows children to play safely.
Villa Helios is in an excellent position just outside the lively Greek village of Lardos in the Lindos area. Just a seven minute stroll away you will find some great restaurants and tavernas, bars, supermarkets, bakery, butchers, fishmongers, doctor and pharmacy. Lardos has its’ own taxi rank with a price list so you can easily travel to Lindos or Pefkos for a night out if you choose not to drive.
This spacious villa is less than a 10 minute drive from the iconic village of Lindos with its whitewashed buildings and small winding streets full of interesting gift shops, atmospheric restaurants and bars. Lardos beach is just a couple of minutes drive away with water sports facilities, sun beds, umbrellas and beach tavernas.
When people travel to the South of Rhodes, they often think of Lindos; and of course, Lindos is only minutes away by car. Lardos, however, is a real Greek Village full of great atmosphere where you can watch the Greek way of life unfolding in front of you. There is a surprising variety of really good restaurants. There are three Greek Tavernas, an Italian Pizzeria, and a Mediterranean Cuisine establishment, so plenty to choose from. As well as great restaurants, there is also a selection of bars and cafes where you can while away the hours enjoying time with the friendly locals. As well as the village, Lardos has a Blue Flag beach with extensive watersports facilities. Pefkos beach also has a Blue Flag rating.
Villa Helios is well placed for travelling further south on the island of Rhodes. The first thing that you will pass, travelling south is a mini golf course which is great fun for families and friends alike. Then, carrying on, you will pass Glystra beach which is a lovely sandy bay with a snack bar ideal for spending the day. Right at the southern tip of the island you will find Prasonissi which is famous for the two seas meeting - the Aegean and the Mediterranean seas which is quite a sight to witness. This is also where many kite surfers and windsurfers gather from all over the world. They can put on quite a show if you are lucky!
Then, going north of Villa Helios, the main road leads you all the way to Rhodes town where you will find the ancient walled city which is a must see for anyone visiting the island. All along this Eastern coast there are also fantastic beaches to spend the day on.
