Property Description
The Villa has 3 floors, with the ground floor having the main dining room, the main sitting room with two separate sitting areas and an ancient fireplace to warm up more chilly evenings
during non summer months, a little studio with a fireplace connecting the main sitting room to the dining room, and it’s TV Room, other than the kitchen, fully set up with professional
equipment to grant clients most sophisticated needs. The first floor hosts the main Master apartment, with its kitchenette with fridge, its private living room overlooking the main terrace, olive and palm trees and the Bay of Talamone, and two bedrooms with en-suite bathroom. The Master room has both a vintage bathtub and separate shower box and two separate sinks, while the other room has a newly renovated shower, ideal also for people with limited accessibility. On the first floor we have other 5 bedrooms, of which 3 have en-suite bathroom and overlook the garden, while the other 2 bedrooms have its own private bathroom just a few steps away from the room entrance, and overlook the main terrace and the bay of Talamone.
On the second floor there are other 3 bedrooms, of which 2 en-suite and 1 with private external bathroom. The 2 en-suite rooms on this floor are each composed of two rooms, and both of them have a sofa bed ideal for children or for housing extra guests.
All bedrooms and connecting rooms have A/C, heating, interior and exterior blinds, and all rooms and bathrooms have mosquito nets on the windows although due to daily breeze and
regular treatments on the property both mosquitos and other insects are very limited. All beds are king sized 180cm x 200cm, and one bedroom, with external private bathroom has
the option to have separated single beds. 2 cots/cribs are available, and 2 barriers for beds for children sleeping in normal beds are available at the property, other than 1 high chair.
Wifi works in all the Villa and in the garden areas around the Villa.
Villa Garden description
The garden of the Villa is around 4 hectares of land and it includes the main terrace in front of the Villa, shaded by secular pine trees, palm trees and wild olive trees. Meals can be njoyed in the shade and in the breeze for up to 20 people, and two connectedexternal sitting areas are placed under the olive trees, ideal for relaxing during the day and enjoying wonderful aperitivo’s at sunset overlooking the Bay of Talamone, Talamone Port and the Island of Giglio. On clear days, the Island of Montecristo and the hills of Corsica can be also seen, being
respectively 40 and 60 miles away. On the left side of the Villa there is a winter garden, shaded by wind, where one can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner in mid-season. Just over this winter garden and reachable from the winter garden, from the back of the Villa and from the front main terrace, there is a shaded Rosegarden, some terraces and our vegetable garden, producing fresh vegetables ready for our chef to serve during the meals. The pool area is also accessible from the left side of the Villa. It is roughly 100 meters away, granting both privacy from the Villa and to the pool guests. The infinity pool is 18.8 meters long and 4 meters wide, equipped with 20 sunbeds and 10 shading large umbrellas. An exterior loung area is also available by the bar/pool house where a changing room the changing room is located.

All staff has to be granted a day off per week, although the service for guests is always guaranteed either by a replacement of the cleaning or serving staff or by the Sous-chef for meals.
Extra hours can be arranged, subject to availability, with prior notice, at a price of 40€ per hour payable directly by the client to the staff member. Kite, Paddling
& Windsurf Directly in the bay of Talamone, 5mins drive from the Villa are located 3 kitesurf schools where it is possible to reserve kitesurf and windsurf classes and directly equipment rental for more experienced people. Horse riding Riding Club Uccellina (vacanzecavallotoscana.it) is only 12mins drive away and offers beautiful trips inside the national park.
Bicycle trip In Fonteblanda or Talamone there are Bicycle and Scooter rental places.
Bicycles and E-Bikes can also be delivered directly to the Villa. A guide can be contacted to tour guests around the Villa or in the beautiful national park of Uccellina. Boat Tours VTC Charter is a trusted charter boat company in the port of Talamone (velapassion.it). Rentals for daily trips or for longer stays can be arranged.
Biba Yachts (bibaboats.net) is on the Giannella Bay but also offer direct pick-up from Talamone Port. Both companies organize tours around the beautiful Monte Argentario or
the Tuscan Arcipelago islands, ie: Island of Giglio, Giannutri, Montecristo, Elba and Capraia. Beaches Giannella beach has many equipped beaches with bars and restaurants:
we recommend Al Tramonto.
Feniglia beach has on Monte Argentario’s side a restaurant on the beach called Mamma Licia, or we recommend La Capannuccia on Ansedonia’s side. Capalbio’s coast has 3 main restaurants on the beach: L’ultima Spiaggia, La Dogana. Wine Tasting & Sightseeing There are many wine yards in the region, but the two we most recommend are Argiano (argiano.net) and Tenuta Ammiraglia (frescobaldi.com), trusted partners of Villa Talamo and would be pleased to organize a wine tasting and a tour through their recently
built/refurbished cantines and cellars and wine yards.
Tastings can be organized directly in the Villa by Mazzei, another historical Tuscan wine producer that has recently lauched a very high level pure Chianti Wine: Ipsus. Giardino dei Tarocchi Niki de Saint Phalle’s esoteric sculpture garden based on the Tarot cards, located in Pescia Fiorentina, 30 minutes drive from the Villa. It is a very characteristic place, resembling Guadì’s architecture Montalcino The village of Montalcino is a beautiful 60mins drive form the Villa over the Tuscan hills, renowned for the famous Brunello wine.
Terme di Saturnia Terme di Saturnia (60mins drive) are well known thermal hot-springs. The sulphurous spring water, at a temperature of 37.5 °C, are known for their therapeutic properties, offering relaxation and well being. Orbetello Orbetello (20 min drive) is the closest charming town and include many local boutiques other than restaurants, bars and coffee shops.
Magliano Magliano is a charming medieval town just 20 minutes away from the villa and has a couple of good restaurants inside it’s walls permeters: Da Guido and Da Sandra.
Siena Siena (1hr drive) is one of Tuscany’s most beautiful cities, also known for its famous horse riding race, ‘Il Palio’ which takes place in Piazza del Campo twice a year. Shopping is also a great idea in Siena where you can find stores of the most prestigious local boutiques as well as renowned Italian and international brands.
