Great holiday home on a sunny plot on (Nordøya) at Sandvær in Herøy municipality on the coast of Helgeland. Panoramic view of the sea and the many islands in the area. Calm and quiet place completely without car traffic. Rich sea fishing, boats can be hired. The ground floor contains a shower room, laundry room and 2 bedrooms, one of which has a double bed, cot and changing table, while the other has an wide family bunk downstairs and a single bunk upstairs. On the main floor, there is a living room, kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with 2 single beds. In the living room, there is a 65 inch TV. Streaming from the internet. Wood stove and free internet, max 100 GB. The house is located 100 m from the sea with a panoramic view from the house and the terrace towards the beautiful coastal landscape. In the east, the mountain range The Seven Sisters can be seen, and to the south the island of Vega. Great hiking terrain for the whole family on the island and by the sea with idyllic sandy beaches. Fantastic area for kayaking. The area around the islands is rich in fish. A 15-foot boat with a 20 hp engine and a 17-foot boat with a 50 hp engine can be rented per day. The boat needs to be booked in advance and is available between May 15th and September 15th. There is no car ferry to Sandvær. Access to/from the island is by speedboat from/to Sandnessjøen to/from Sandvær or by car ferry from Søvik to Flostad on Herøy where the car is parked at Tennvalen and guests can be picked up by a local boat for a fee. 18 km to the grocery store on Herøya (boat necassary) or to Sandnessjøen
