Welcome to a large and beautiful house right next to the Dalsland canal with its own bathing jetty and access to a boat. The house is an old infirmary that belonged to the mill and thanks to this there are plenty of beds and spacious rooms. The location is incredible but large indoor and outdoor areas. The lawn leads you down to a beautiful view of the canal with its own swimming area. If you're lucky, you can see the boats going on the canal and you can also glimpse the lock on the left up from the garden. This house suits the larger family traveling with relatives and friends. For those of you who want to experience beautiful Dalsland and live comfortably. The house is not rented out to youth groups or companies. The house is a personal fine style with mixed decor of modern and older. You are welcomed into a large hall with light. Dining area with space for 8 people directly to the right as you enter with a view of the water. From almost every window you can see down to Dalslanskanal. The kitchen is of an older style but has a dishwasher and most everything you could need. There is a small kitchen table in here. This too with room for 8 people. There are a total of 3 children's chairs, one of which is a step stool. Please note that the house must be cleaned before departure. It is a large family room combined with a playroom. Sofas are available in several rooms with pleasant social areas for pleasant relaxation. The stairs up lead you to the bedrooms and also a craft room. So those of you traveling with small children and the elderly will have a great time. Up here there is a bedroom with a junior bed of approx. 1m long. Adjacent is a bedroom with a double bed 180 cm. Toilet with sink and wc is adjacent to another bedroom that has a single bed and is somewhat separated with an open door to the other room with a double bed. There is also a sink here. Many rooms in the house have their own sink. Just as it was before and the owners have chosen to preserve that feeling. On this floor there is another bedroom with a double bed. The stairs up lead to the third floor where you have 2 bedrooms at each end of the house. The blue bedroom with a bed of 140 cm and the yellow with a bed of 120. Each room with a sink and a view of the sparkling lake. A total of 13 beds and 3 children's beds are offered, of which 2 are cots and a junior bed of 140x125 cm. In total (including the children) 16 people can live in this house. In the garden, a robotic lawnmower rolls so be careful so that nothing gets in front of it. Fiber is available throughout the house. In the garden and in the forest next door, you can pick the forest's lovely berries. Doughnuts, raspberries, blueberries and even cherries from the garden. Since the house is next to the paper mill, there may be some smell, but the location, the swimming area and the surroundings outweigh everything. Here, the larger group/family will have a great time. Dalsland has a lot to offer and a visit to the moose park next door is a must. Approximately 7.2 kilometers from the house, in Steneby, there is one of the Nordic countries' longest zip-line courses as well as an elk park, gold digging for children and a riding center where adults and children can ride horses. The Straw Museum, candy manufacturing factory and a large playground can be found in Bengtsfors this approx. 7.2 kilometers from the house. You can walk/jog/cycle on a nice gravel road all the way to Bengtsfors. The road is directly above the house. You can also drive on the dirt road to the lovely swimming spot, about 1 km away. Perfect for small children as the water is very shallow, as well as a long jetty that leads out to slightly deeper water. There is also room to light a campfire here. A rowing boat is included in the rent as well as an Enkrona sailboat for children with room for an adult. Warm welcome!
