Upon entering this attractive property, you are welcomed to a brightly appointed, open-plan living room, comprising a cosy sitting room, where you and your family can curl up during a winter’s evening in front of the TV.
This tranquil location welcomes guests into a slower pace of life, where you can relax and enjoy the company of your loved ones. In here, you can prepare your evening meals within the well-appointed kitchen before enjoying it within the delightful dining area, making the perfect spot for planning the days ahead. On sunny days enjoy the freedom of eating out on the decking, with freshly cooked sausages and burgers on the gas BBQ, enjoying a glass of wine or two as the sun sets beyond the trees. There are two well-appointed double bedrooms, each benefiting from tasteful interior design, ensuring that you wake up within an atmosphere of tranquillity. Both have built in wardrobes with plenty of storage. The bathroom has Jack and Jill entry into the master double bedroom. You have your own private enclosed garden, an added bonus for those with dogs or for sun lovers.
Next to the site there is a popular Thai restaurant and you can also head into the thriving village of Pocklington which is known as the gateway to the Wolds. Here you will find a local pub as well as a couple of supermarkets, with a market every Tuesday. In less than a 30-minute drive you will locate the walled city of York. Whilst here, you can visit the Gothic-style cathedral, step inside the time capsule of the Jorvik Viking Centre, or enjoy the vast array of shops, restaurants and pubs within the city. Nearby, for children, you have York Maze, Piglets Farm as well as Flamingo Land theme park and zoo. There are some wonderful walking trails nearby making this a great destination for hikers as well as dog lovers. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 ½ mile and restaurant 500 yards.
