Pleasant holiday home on the west side of Meløya. The house is located on a sunny and child-friendly plot in the yard of the owner's farm and has a lovely outdoor area with a large terrace, garden/barbecue room with gas grill, gazebo, and hot tub. The island has great hiking terrain along the sea and in the mountains and has good fishing opportunities, both in the sea and in fishing lakes. The house is spacious and pleasantly furnished with wilderness-style furniture. On the ground floor, there is kitchen, bathroom, and a bedroom with a bunk bed for 2 pers. On the first floor, there is a living room and 2 bedrooms, each with a 1.20 m wide bed. 2 beds in the living room. The outdoor area has a large terrace with a cozy garden room and barbecue kitchen. Gazebo and wood-fired wilderness bath provide wonderful well-being and a holiday feeling for the whole family. Free internet with large capacity. The island is known for its beautiful coastal landscape with idyllic islands and sandy beaches in the archipelago beyond. On the bright nights of spring and summer, the midnight sun is a great spectacle. This time provides great nature experiences when nature comes to life, and you can hear the many migratory birds that nest in the area. The island has nice walking opportunities for the whole family along the sea, 350 m from the house, where the children can pick stones and shells on the beaches while you enjoy the salty and fresh sea air out here. Marked hiking trail to Meløytiden, which is the highest mountain peak on the island at 582 m.a.s.l. From here there is a magnificent view over the beautiful archipelago with its many islands. There are plenty of fishing opportunities in the sea, you can also fish in several waters on the island. Meløya has a long history and in ancient times was a central place at the ship berth that passes by. Northern Norway's second largest wooden church is located on the island. 3 km to colonial shop. Car ferry to the island from Ørnes takes 40 minutes.
