Welcome to live in a unique apartment located in a historic mill building from 1870 in beautiful Säfsen Fredriksberg, a tourist resort in the heart of Dalarna, it is located on the second floor with an outstanding lake view of the Middle Lake. Well-planned apartment that offers generous spaces for both relaxation and experiences, preserved details from the past give a lovely character and charm in every room, modern amenities for a pleasant stay. Perfect for a larger group or several families traveling together and your four-legged friends are welcome. Open kitchen that leads to a dining area, large table with many seats and next to it is a family room for relaxation and a living room with sofas and TV. 4 bedrooms where two of the rooms each have their own double bed (180cm) and in one of the rooms there is also a bunk bed, the other bedrooms have a single bed and at the far end as in a small alcove there is an extra double bed. Bathroom with shower, WC and another bathroom with WC and washing machine. At the back there is a large lawn with a seating area and barbecue for the bright and warm summer evenings. Here you can easily rest and get away from the stress of everyday life and instead enjoy nature and fantastic surroundings, good fishing water in lakes that are out of the ordinary, here you can find trout, char, perch and pike. Near the accommodation is Säfsen Resort, here there are many activities and sights to enjoy during the summer. Explore the area on two wheels by renting mountain bikes or regular bikes. Take part in the many hiking trails that wind through Säfsen and its surroundings. There are activity parks with exciting challenges for both children and adults. Enjoy a refreshing swim in Lake Älgsjön, which has a beautiful bathing area with a sandy beach, it is possible to rent canoes, kayaks or paddle boards to explore the lake. Ostkôja is located in the middle of Fredriksberg, here you can find good cheeses for everyday use and party accessories for the cheese, as well as smoked salmon fillet from Gustavalax, drink from Grangärde musteri and on some days even charcuterie etc. Grocery store and restaurants within walking distance of the apartment, Rosahöjdens farm, kitchen-bakery here everything is baked from scratch, have a coffee on site or take home. Meals are served in the evening and some evenings events with troubadours or other entertainment are offered. For the shopping enthusiast, it takes approx. one hour by car to Ludvika Dalarna's third largest conurbation, The city that was born in 1919 offers varied shopping and nice cafes and restaurants. Smaller stores are located side by side with chain companies. In Engelbrekt Galleria there are 15 shops under one roof. A few kilometers outside the center you will find the shopping area Lyviksberget. There are beautiful fireplaces in the apartment but are not fireproof. Cleaning is included in the price.
