We are the proud owners of a little piece of Haliburton heaven in the heart of the lakes and hills of the world renowned Algonquin Highlands - 'Adventure Begins Here'.
While the cottage sleeps 10 people comfortably, we only allow a maximum of 6 adults and their children. Our cottage is a wonderful place for family celebrations. Please take time to read the House Rules located below before requesting a booking.
Located in a protected bay on the sunny side of big and beautiful Boshkung Lake, your vacation here will provide access to a wide variety of year-round activities and events as well as an engaging and relaxed lifestyle.
For those visiting in summer, pristine water offers swimming, canoeing, sailing, boating, fishing and sparkling sunsets. Nearby trail systems offer limitless hiking, biking, off-roading adventures and some of the most scenic views in all of Ontario.
In the winter, skating on the lake, snowshoeing through the forests, cross-country skiing and downhill skiing await.
Just minutes away, the hamlet of Carnarvon has everything you may need make the most of your stay – well-stocked convenience store, driving range, mini-golf, LCBO, two great restaurants, and award-winning local brewery. Within a short drive, arts and heritage are alive and well with museums, galleries and quaint small-town shopping.
UPPER LEVEL MAIN FLOOR:
Ground level entrance into an open concept kitchen, dining and living room areas ready to entertain large groups of your most favourite people. Wood burning fireplace and TV in living room. Master bedroom with queen bed, two other bedrooms, each with a queen bed and bunk-bed. While we do provide mattress protectors, pillows and blankets, we do ask our guests to bring their own linens and bath/beach towels. Main bathroom with double vanity, toilet, shower and jacuzzi bath. Half bathroom with single vanity and toilet. Raised lakeside deck with large BBQ and seating for your group.
LOWER LEVEL WALKOUT BASEMENT:
Recreational space, pull-out sofa, clothes washer/dryer, home entertainment area, games table.
