We are a farming and hotel family with 175 years of tradition, since my ancestors were the masoveros of the house of the Baron of Eroles from 1840 to 1943. During this period, our house welcomed people passing through, since there was no inn in the village where they could stay or keep the cattle they took to the fairs.
In the second decade of the 20th century, with the arrival of the Canadenca, there was an economic and demographic boom. At that time, everyone went into business and we continued serving meals and renting rooms.
In 1940 the last Baron d'Eroles died and the heirs sold their properties, which led to my family moving to the house next door, Casa Don Pau, in 1943, although people continued to call us Casa Baró.
In 1958 life improved and an economic recovery began. At that time a lot of work was foreseen in the region and it was then when my godmother Florentina, together with her children, opened a bar, a restaurant and a boarding house. Her daughter Lola, my aunt, was in charge and that is where the name Casa Lola comes from. When my aunt retired, I, María Teresa, took over. I am the third generation.
In our house you will find a good place to rest, since we have accommodations equipped with kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, all household utensils, a comfortable bed and a bathroom with shower.
