Large rustic house, full of atmosphere perfect for family rest or for groups of friends who would like to explore Calabria.
Our villa offers the possibility of quiet vacations (with several beaches nearby, and also of the beautiful mountains of the National Park l'Aspromonte), as well as easy access to the city with museums and historical sites. It is a 200-meter house with three bedrooms, one with a double bed (orthopedic mattress), a triple room, and a small room with a single bed and a small sofa. The villa is thus equipped with 6 beds. There are two bathrooms, and a large living room with a fireplace and kitchen. It is a quiet house (apart from country sounds such as birds and dogs). The villa has a special artistic atmosphere, but it is neither a new nor luxurious home with hotel standards (short lease between individuals). From the courtyard one can see the volcano Etna, the sea in the distance and fruit trees. You can enjoy a patio with barbecue area and hammock. To the side is parking for up to 3 cars. We offer a mobile wifi modem unlimited traffic (but the line does not pick up everywhere). We are located in the residential part of Reggio Calabria, Southern Italy +-15km from downtown and 10 minutes drive from Reggio Calabria airport. (1.40 hour from Lamezia Terme airport and 3 hours from Catania)and the house is located on a hill about 600 meters from the sea but it is essential to have a car to enjoy what the area offers. Reggio Calabria is famous for its seaside street with interesting vegetation from all over the world and a pleasant art nouveau historic center. The main cultural attraction is the National Archaeological Museum, where you can see the splendid Riace Bronzes and the largest collection of Magna Graecia art.
We are in the hilly area of Bocale, a residential area 14km from the center of Reggio Calabria. Kate surf school at 2 km.
The bus stop is a 15-minute walk on the national road but the car is strongly recommended because the frequency of buses is not high. Bocale railway station is about 700m away.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
It is not a house suitable for allergy sufferers (gardens around with many plants and the house is very ventilated (with dust that also comes from nearby Etna), Punta Pellaro is located about 3km from there and is one of the windiest places in Italy perfect for kitesurfing).
The house does not have a washing machine.
A car is required.
We do not take responsibility for lack of municipal services, such as delays in collecting garbage and lack of regular water supply, Calabria in summer is an arid land with water problems so we ask you not to despise this important resource. (we leave you a supply of 2000 liters on your arrival).
Upon your arrival we will ask you to sign the contract (which we will send you before confirming the booking) and to bring copies of your documents for the registration of your stay at the police station (mandatory procedure).
