This is a comfortable two bedroom home with a 72 sq.m.. private pool and garden. The house is located 10’ away from the beautiful Shinias beach in a quiet neighborhood close to parks and playgrounds, surrounded by a tree fence for privacy. There is free parking outside the house and front garden parking.
You can relax by the pool or drive to a lovely sandy beach only 10’ away.
This is an independent 80sq.m. family home with a private pool and garden. The space consists of a living- room with a three seat sofa, a sofa table and an armchair; one bedroom with a double bed, one bedroom with two single beds that can be joint together and a two seat sofa bed in the living room.
There are two dining room tables with 6 chairs; one in the living room and one in the patio overlooking the pool.
The kitchen has both a washing machine and a dish washer and is part of the spacious living room, where there is smart TV with Netflix, there is one bathroom and a storage room for bicycles and other items. The window shutters are electric.
Next to the large swimming pool 6x13m you can use the outdoor shower.The pool is not heated.
The house is located in a quiet neighborhood close to parks and playgrounds and a 10’ ride to the sandy Schinias beach, a protected landscape of dunes & pines, offering water sports and beach bars for seaside dining. The area is ideal for activities such as hiking, cycling, swimming, acquaintance with nature,bird watching and environmentalb education. It is one of the most important sea recreation areas for the inhabitants of Athens and one of the few in the area that still retain their aesthetic value and the classical beauty of the Attican landscape.
The beach is 2 klm away, the biggest supermarket 3 klm but there are small grocery shops closer than that, there are cafes and bars near the beach and the biggest village with many coffee shops, restaurants etc is Nea Makri, is 10klm away. Athens’ airport Eleftherios Venizelos is 35 klm away. The pool is 6x12 m. The house is not on a hill or a mountain, it’s on flat terrain. The villa and pool are completely private and there is a gardener and pool service every week.

-A 10’ ride to the Schinias beach, where a protected wetland natural reserve and pine forest meets the sea on a unique gold sand beach that extends for kilometers. The water is shallow for a good distance, making it a great beach for kids.
You can choose between beach bars with music, water sports and sunbeds with umbrellas or an all natural golden beach with no sun beds but with plenty of shade to choose under the pines.
-A 10’ ride to the Schinias forest and wetland protected by the European NATURA 2000 Framework, ideal for educational and research purposes in the area of biology and nature conservation.
The Schinias area encompasses 13.84 square kilometers that include a wetland, a coastal pine forest, a freshwater spring, a peninsula, a hill and a magnificent bay and is the most important coastal ecosystem of Attica and belongs to the Natura 2000 network. At the National Park of Schinias you can encounter foxes, badgers, hedgehogs, rabbits, reptiles, turtles, frogs, 115 bird species with a potential diversity of 215 species while there are threatened species of freshwater fish, amphibians and reptiles.
-A 5’ ride to the Olympic Rowing Center where non-professional athletes can train under the ENOA club. The entrance for the public is free for walking, running and cycling a 5 Klm distance around the lake. A truly beautiful and serene natural scenery ideal for photography.
-The area holds some very strong historical associations. The house is a 15’ ride to the Mound in which the Athenian dead were buried after the Battle of Marathon. In the beginning of August 490BC a small army of 10.000 Athenians and 600 Plataeans defeated an army more than three times their size in the plain of Marathon. This victory is considered one of the turning points in history paving the way for the Greek classical civilization.

It is said that he ran the entire distance to Athens without stopping, discarding his weapons and even clothes to lose as much weight as possible, and burst into the assembly, exclaiming νενικήκαμεν (nenikēkamen, "we have won!"), before collapsing and dying.
